Sorry.. stream was too shit that I couldn't tell. It had no clear replay so I just typed what I saw. I'll look at a replay when it comes. I always wondered why penalty takers just don't go up to the upper corner or even up the middle that often...

Greece is very fortunate to get a point. A deserved result since Poland looked bad and dull in the 2nd half.

Wouldn't say so...We showed some character there after equalizin with a player less.In general it was a nice match. We were so dumb we didn't make the 1-2 with the penalty won.Referee's decisions were awful and that's a fact.

Awful play by our LB Cholevas.
Game changed a lot with Salpingidis efforts and his goal,Papadopoulos was a shame he didn't start him, thank god he went in later.Katsouranis was bad in the midfield in the first half.Karagounis played well and clever stopped the rythm with fouls won at the midfield but in general his penalty loss was a fatality to our dreams of gettin somethin more from this game.Samaras was good and quite decently he kept some balls at the left and tried a lot.Ninis didn't impress me but he hadn't any help and our game was quite awful at first half with long balls so i won't flame him.In general i'm just happy we got a good result.Very decent.

About today's game vs Czech Republic: No relationship with the team that we knew. The magic team of 2004 ... is a far cry from the one we saw towards Russia. Nothin is over tbh. Both goals we conceded was keeper's inability.Likely we have Sifakis now instead of Chalkias. We had the chance to get into the game with the 2-1 frankly goal disallowed. We do have casualties both Papastathopoulos and Avraam our CB's,so Katsouranis needed to partner Papadopoulos as CB.We had some changes with Fotakis on but he seemed a liabily so he's out now for Gekas. Our LW Samaras played as CF but we are havin some changes now...

Totally satisfied, we stopped the Russians, tight at the back and counter attack. Honestly other than possession and passing numbers we created more chances, and Russia didnt exist on our half since the equalizer nothing like against Czech Rep, and we kept attacking although all players looked exauhsted on both sides, Arshawin almost dropped.

Russia will be docked six points in qualifying for the next European Championship if their fans step out of line again after disturbances at their opening Euro 2012 game against the Czech Republic last Friday, UEFA said.

The charges against Russia's fans included setting off and throwing fireworks and the display of illicit banners at the match in Wroclaw which Dick Advocaat's team won 4-1.

Russian and Polish fans were involved in the worst violence of the tournament around the second group game in Warsaw on Tuesday.

Mad Biscione
13 Jun 12, 16:09
Yes , quite some brawls happened prior to Pol-Rus game, but I knew it will happen, a lot of Poles have great deal of hatred and hostility towards Russians and its mutual. I can understand the anger when Russians marched waving hammer&sickle flags, thats downright provocative and insulting to say the least, it's a symbol of decades of opression, what are they proud of it? And if anything it's banned by our law to wear and spread it on the same lewel as swastika. Also them kicking and beating Polish stewards in Wrocław didnt help.

Of course I'm not justyfing anything, I just know where it comes from. Hosts should always welcome their guests eliminating those who come only to fight, Russian police informed that they had info about organized groups that only went to Polanto cause trouble. Some where contained on the stadium as there was a risk they wanted to interupt the game.
For many its hard to look past all the conflicts, wars, mass murders, etc, though I believe despite all that Russia and Poland are very alike http://i.imgur.com/dOGTd.gif

I just hope we wont be panalized with negative points

He always overreacts and mostly he becomes funny to us but he's a player who plays with so much passion and we respect him for that.

This group had a "death" feeling with all the parity in between. Not many expected Russia to not play as well and for Czech to play good. Sure these 4 are not top quality, but there was enough balanced competition to make it a "group of death."

Now at the quarter finals with Germany.Germans would love the opportunity to humiliate the shit out of us no doubt, nice. They all call us shithouses and stuff but football and tiki taka only.Tactically we had a good game tonight.Well deserved for us.

The ultimate trolling this group is... I was 99% certain Russia will go trough, and like 80% for Poland.

Congrats to Greece and Czech.

Such an unexpected event in this group. At first, I thought Russia would surely go through but well, not always the best team wins anyways

Game against Czechs unfortunately summed up two years of averageness and amateurness (aka preparations) - time wasted. I watched almost all our 30+ friendly games prior to Euro and it's safe to say game against Russia was the highlight of these 2 years right after 2-2 friendly with Germany, nothing has been done, I think we improved maybe defense slightly.

Here the hype for our team in the last months was incredibly high, suddenly there was criticising anymore, everyone shush we can do this. Our amateur PZPN (FA) sold our team to Sport5, and all they care is money, in preparations to european tournament we fly to places like Thailand, Singapore, Ecuador, USA and South Korea :palm: so they can monetize on tv rights and our joke coach kept insisting these games do help him (really?).
Excluding extremaly weak teams we played 34 games (including Euro) and scored 34 goals, with embarassing 1 goal per game ratio.

Now he's gone saying Poland CAN get through World Cup qualifications, say what? we have England, Montenegro(!) and Ukraine in group, how can he say that managing to get only 2 points in similar group in Euro, what a joke. Plus he had a thing for foreign players with polish papars, and they all play in starting 11, I hope CB Perquis stays (the only one who wanted to play for us from the start not after being rejected buy other teams, plus he's good), others Polanski, Boenish I dont know I think they played to selfish for their own goals, Euro exposure not the team, but especially Obraniak (Lille now Bordeaux) can go fuck himself. Why didnt we play out biggest talent in league right now on his position Wolski instead of Obraniak, Udinese and BVB wanted this kid but current club wanted a lot.

Maybe it will help , a win against Czechs would erase two years of mistakes, amateur management. Help in building out assossiation from ground up but those people are hard to get rid of.
Most people say our PZPN is the last stronghold from Soviet era that somehow managed to survive, guess it's true.

Congrats to Czechs, I voted them and they got least votes;)
