Chelsea dun goof'd. You don't send players to Inter for them to develop. He's gonna be worthless by the time we are done with him.

14 Aug 13, 01:13

Chelsea must want to get rid of him, that's the only explanation. They probably just don't want the backlash of selling a player who hasn't even been given a proper chance. They are stacked at the RB position (every position tbh). Odds are he plays 5 games...all in the Coppa Italia. Mou will not have any use for him..guaranteed. We will start the bidding at $2M plus M'baye.

Please stop hating, all of you.

If there is any fault, its on the management for getting him in such a deal.

Wallace just wants to come here and prove to be the best RWB in the world, and win the Scudetto for Inter.

Whatever. If he's good, he should be utilized, regardless of whether we can purchase or not.

14 Aug 13, 08:27
the aim, also, has to be to convince him that he wants to be at inter, if hes good. he's unlikely to get a work permit next season either, unless he suddenly breaks through to the international scene in a big way, so we might be able to have him for a couple of years.

I am amazed to see so much hate on this forum about this deal. Even if we don't have any kind of option to buy him at the end, exactly what do we have to lose? We paid peanuts for his loan, at the very worst he will steal minutes from Jonathan/ Nagatomo, and he is an upgrade on any of our youth players vying for this position. Branca pulled off this move in case we fail to sign people like Isla et al, NOT as a substitute for that deal. Can't you see if Juve continue being a total dick and not give us Isla, and Udine and Napoli continue being deluded about charging us 10 mil for an overrated old player and one on his last year of his contract, at least we have Wallace to fall back on and offer SOME prospect of an option other than Jona?

Here we have a decently talented youngster who will play out of his socks to prove his worth, and we spend our time hating him and Branca for this move? Seriously!

shadowmoon

Bergpavian
14 Aug 13, 12:05
It's not hate, it's just ...

When he does bad he will not play, nobody gives a fuck about him and we still need a RB.

When he does good he will play, we all will be disappointed to see him leaving and we still need a RB.

Linege
14 Aug 13, 12:05
yep, its a perfect deal, we should sell all our players and filled our team with 20 scrubs loan out of some big clubs like Chelsea. Branca can fly there to empty the trash once a week too. It would save us so much trouble with managing transfers, paying the fees etc.

Kid wasn't worthy and couldn't establish himself as a starter with Fluminense and he's suddenly expected to be our savior at RB.. gotta love the logic in our front office.

Other then being quick playing the 1-2 and rushing forward to receive is the highlight of his game, he's very depended on it - he also makes cuts through the middle into the box which will remind people of Maicon, and sometimes he has his moments as far as dribbling, although he's not great at it and rely on 1-2s to get into deeper positions. Those are the positives I could say.

Those are the positives I could say.

Kid is 19 years old today. He was 18.5 years old when he transferred to Chelsea. He was 17 years old when he started to play for Fluminense.

It's either you expected too much from 17 years old boy or Fluminense is a Primavera club that Wallace couldn't break into.

stanko 05
15 Aug 13, 13:30
He played both at 17 and 18 in Fluminense. Neither of which did he make a significant contribution to the club, the latter was the only season he actually got considerable playing-time in the Brasilerao(due to injuries mostly) and was unimpressive both filling in as RB, and playing at times as a sub at RM being more negative then positive.
I'd have a different approach if we had an option cause the kid does have potential to improve down the line to be a good player, but..

Why again do we need to outsource for a 3rd string RB then, and one we have no ability to purchase to begin with?
Are things that desperate in our youth system that we can't figure out someone to play as a 3rd string and in case of injuries as backup?
Couldn't have Donati played that role? Or M'Baye? or whoever else?

So if he isn't really coming to get considerable playing time and we don't have an option for him, then why did we even bring him? What's the message to the Primavera here?

And if he did come here to get considerable playing time, then how is a kid coming off his first season getting considerable minutes at the Brasilerao while not really impressing in them (and also losing his place in the Brazilian U-20 South American Championship after 2 games due to poor performance), is expected to make an impact for Inter all of a sudden?

Whichever way you look at it(while it's not that much of an issue if he's a 3rd stringer cause he costs nothing), it's quite baffling.

Wallace
16 Aug 13, 09:46
This deal is the beginning of establishing a strong relationship and good rapport with Chelsea.

If we do this well, Chelsea will continue to supply more youth players to us on loan, and this is Inter style youth project in transforming an old squad into a youth side.

We can't find a cheaper way to execute our long term youth project, it's well planned by our management, once again.

thatdude
16 Aug 13, 12:04
Although you are trolling have a good relationship with Chelsea really is a good thing. Just look at how stacked they are especially up front. We really could end up getting a young talent on the cheap who's not playing because they paid $172738M for the flavor of the month.

Would't surprise me...

Cambiasso, Milito and Zanetti combined are making over 10m total in wages. And have been for several years despite being in their 30's. I don't even want to get into what Stankovic was getting paid and Chivu still is. This is a club that leaks money and is quite vocal about it but it doesn't stop them from spending it in horrible ways like a teenage girl with her daddy's credit card.

The agent: “Wallace returning to Chelsea? It’s not true”

Is it true that Wallace will leave Inter in January to return to Chelsea?

“I can say that it’s not true.”

He will thus remain in Milan until June?

“We have not received any call from Chelsea regarding this, thus he will remain until the end of the season at Inter.”

It is said that Inter are unhappy with his performances…

“It’s something you ‘ll have to ask them about. I think he’s in the normal stage of his acclimation, it’s not even six months since he came to Italy. Between now and June, I’m confident that you will see better things on the pitch.”

Is he happy at Inter?

“Yes, he is happy, very happy. Just hope he gets to play more in the future.”

I find it extremely hilarious that he's the definition of ghost in our team, and then the club posts a happy birthday banner on facebook. I almost mistook that for a death memorial "RIP Wallace, forever in our Inter hearts <insert year of life/death>".

So when the loan expires and you head back to Chelsea are you going to be leaving the forum?

we'll open the pool (LGI or former) as usual and then we will decide that we will put him in new category (former ghost player) as a memorial of trolling wallace :troll:

2 he is not even in the bench even

You made two big mistakes.
1. He said brought not bought.
2. Your second sentence doesn't make much sense.

Oh and one more:
Fuck you for trolling our prodigal right back.

A bit strange, yes. Quick math: if 25 players in the top team + coach each get a happy birthday banner, that's already one every other week.

He is here to get himself mentally ready for CL football next season with Mourinho, while you guys bored yourself with EL.

I feel bad for Wallace though, made one foul that lead to the fluke goal and cost us 2 points, meanwhile Nagatomo made one that cost us 3 points against Atalanta...
Maybe it's all about mentality...

I believe there was some rumour a long time back about that exactly, and that he would stay for one more season.

His case brings me one thing in mind. He s categorized as one of the young players given no chances and dunno really if he just suck balls or he could be valuable if he was believed more.

04 Jul 14, 05:20
It was clear right from the beginning that without a buy-out clause, he had no future here. After all, we are not growing players for Chelski AND paying them in the process. :palm: One of Branca's final strikes...

TheNetworkZ
04 Jul 14, 05:57
He was only loaned to us because he wasn't able to get a work permit in England. I don't think it was ever planned to actually give him playing time, but besides that I can't judge his talent since I haven't watched him much.

He was here just to fill the squad in case of emergency. As soon as Mazzarri found out he wasn't good enough to help us NOW, he never played again.

complete mediocre, and your coach decided to take you off after you played a long time, then you got so unbelievably pissed off out of the blue and ignored him when he reached out his hand on camera for all to see. one old dude from carpi's bench had to sit your ass down nervously. i thought he'd beat you up.

He has been sent from Carpi back to Brazil where he will be playing for Gremio. I'm sure Chelsea will cut ties this summer.
