Inter will come to Sweden during the pre-season as well. Too bad that the location is soooo far off from me that it would cost a hell of a lot of money for me to even try to see some glimpses of them.

On a technical level when it comes to Inter, it seems we will have a weird pre-season. First the usual retreat in Süd Tirol (I forgot the real name), then Sweden and then England. And we will also play a CL-qualifier on top of that somewhere. Seems like it's badly planned and too much travelling.

At least all of them are played in Europe. Is Sweden & England located far away from each other? If I guess correctly, it'd be around 5 hours of flight? About the Sud Tirol thing, if I'm not wrong it's Brunico or something. I'm too lazy to check the archives in inter.it.

It`s only about a two hour flight. Hopefully we won`t be going to Japan this summer

Jimmy, where in Sweden will Inter play? Is it somewhere near Stockholm?

In Varberg, and no it's not near Stockholm. It's near Gothenburg so it's on the west coast. Would be about 700km for me to go there.

Jimmy,
I really believe you should make the effort to go and see them. Its a great opportunity to see them up close and personal. I will guarantee you a memorable occasion. As for me, not only I’ll see some of their games here in London but I will certainly visit their camp here as well.
On top of that depending on my work situation by the time they visit Varberg (Sweden) I might even come and see my parents and so the team in Sweden ;)

Oh this is amazing. How can I get tickets to one of these games in England? How much will they cost?

I dont think there will much problem getting hold of tickets as the games will not be sold out. Most probably normal if not cheaper ticket sale prices applies. So be prepared to fork out anything between £10-£35 depending on youe seat!
As things develops I will keep people posted ;)

Cheers. Frisko reckons they will be available outside the stadium so I will probably just go along.

This won't be a mightily competitive match and so that's why I am not worried if it were a Champions League game though I would be barking mad. Phew!

Just when they were to play friendly matches against us, they got relegated ... just 3 teams get relegated and they did get relegated on the very last day. :P

Nice observation. Maybe we really did curse them. To think that Norwich got trashed by Fulham completely on the last day of the season. That was pitiful. I liked Norwich. Crystal palace is good too.

Palace fan here, yo!

You're right in saying that the Palace v Inter game is the centre piece of our centenary celebrations. Looking forward to it - especially as we have a good relationship with you (regarding Sorondo and Ventola).

Ticket prices have already been released. I think if you book in advance the prices are £10 per ticket and if you buy on the gate it will be £15.

If anyone wants to have a drink beforehand let me know and we can show you where to go and have some friendly banter! :D

Does anyone know the exact date of the Celtic game?

Hopefully I will be able to go and see it.

I dont think it has been confirmed yet and if so it hasnt been published. Try and contact Celtic. Perhaps they have more info regarding the match date.
