Inter have closed the operation Marcelo Brozovic in secret, beating competition from Milan, Naples and above Arsenal. Now the player has signed his four-year contract with Inter and played a medical in the morning and can be considered quite a new graft for Mancini. To speak of the deal that brought the Croatian Milan FcInterNews felt themediator in the talks, with the agent Miroslav Bicanic, VincenzoCavaliere.
Here are his words: "The operation began about a year ago. Aid and I we talked about it, then the Nerazzurri have followed him in different races and different contexts. In Champions League, Europa League and San Siro against Italy: that was the icing on the cake. Then close we were to do the operation, but for the summer. Aid assessed whether now or postpone it, but as always he guesses the most appropriate time to bring it to Inter. This is the best time after the World Cup, having done big games for club and country. And 'quite young but a certainty. Won a derby against Milan? I do not know, do not want to get into it. Inter have made a beautiful operation. Piero was good, but not within the diatribes Milan-Inter. Mancini convinced San Siro when he saw him? I think so. E Kovacic? They played together for a long time. Surely they asked information. It 'obvious that from former teammate and playing for Inter could evaluate whether or not Brozovic could play. If he is happy? Obviously it is very happy. Also saw Thohir yesterday at the stadium. And 'happy to be at Inter, but like all Croatians shows little emotion. The same happened with Livaja, joined Inter seemed to have signed up to take a TV (laughs ed). A level expressive looks cool, but it does not. He has great character. "
Brozovic: "At Inter I will play a lot. The fight ..."

After signing his contract with Inter,Marcelo Brozovic, new Inter player, issued a brief statement reported by Vecernji List: "I will have to compete for a place with Gary Medel and Fredy Guarin, sometimes withMateo Kovacic. We are four for three places in midfield, but there will be room for everyone at Inter. I am convinced that I will play a lot, "said Brozovic, that in Milano will live in the same building where l compatriot Kovacic lives in the ambient that will help him in Italy.
Of course he'll play a lot, our midfield is hopeless :D

He's already my favourite player
We have no clue about him, but there was a post of Arsenal fan about him which I found in reddit :
There are many reports in Croatia about Arsenal interest and as I know this guy since he was 12, thought I should write a scouting report for you.
Broz is one of the best players in Croatian first division, and the manner in which he evolved from a talented lower league player to a starter for the national team and most important Dinamo player is just amazing. Many experts had their doubts about him making the next step, and I for one thought that despite his talent he wouldnt make it, but he did his best too answer his critics.
He is an allround midfield player, with great technical skills, and unbeliveable engine. He also has a great shot on him that he doesnt use as often as he should. His best games were in a CM position where he is able to best utilize his strenghts and make the players around him better. I would say this is the reason he will have a great career, because everytime he plays he seems to speed up the team he plays in and somehow gets the best out of his teammates.
He also has amazing football inteligence which is kind of a paradox when you know he isnt exactly the sharpest tool in the shed off the field. He (allegedly) failed his driving licence test 14 times , has serious betting adiction and a behaviour of an uninterested 10 year old kid.
But his "inteligence" is in my opinion on of the factors in his rapid rise as he never thinks about who and where he plays. He always gives 110 percent, and doesnt care about how important the game is, which will turn him into a reliable big game player as he becomes older. He reminds me of Aaron alot, because they have alot in common in terms of their abilities and habits to take advantage of space between lines, as they both use their running capacity to get on the end of plays and score goals.
At the moment, Brozovic is a diamond in tbe rough and if someone directs him properly, he will become a next great Croatian midfielder, because he has both the talent and is a really hard worker when it comes to training.
Well that comparison was bound to happen, but despite some similarities, I wouldnt say he will become Modric type of player. Modric for me is a playmaker who can sit deeper and has little or no ambition to go forward and Brozovic has both Physical and tactical abilities to offer more up front. Its hard to predict where he will end up in terms of his position as he is a modern type of a midfielder, versatile and full of running, able to fill up many positions. ( Wenger loves this ) He plays alongside a DM for Dinamo in a 4213 formation but he roams all over the pitch and covers unbeliveable amount of space.
I was watching a game in the local pub couple of days ago, right next to him and my God that guy is an idiot... Great player but his Iq is somewhere round room temperature.
Also, one of his better friends tells me Italy is the most realistic option for Brozovic but financial part of the deals offered arent good enough for Dinamo. Liverpool were in for him for a while, and Arsenal aren't serious about him at the moment.
I have a feeling he'll be big Bro's with Guarin

When shaqiri need a million time to get as a starter
How long he will take time on bench when mancini have a blindlove with guarin..
From what I understand from GG translation, this guy is on loan and we have the option which will become obligation if certain conditions are met?
What is the condiotion has to be passed for the obligation?
Welcome, I have absolutely no doubt Brozovic will become a useful player, since the acquisition is done by Mancini and Ausilio together.
For those who have doubts, may Ausilio prove you wrong once again.
Well, Podolski has only been on the bench once so far and has started on every other match. With Shaqiri it's just a fitness issue till he gets ready. We'll probably see Bro versus Sassuolo as a sub and then he will potentially be a starter depending on Mancio's evaluation.

anyway welcome. I liked him the one time i saw him playing (against italy), he is definetly weaker than kovacic skillwise, but seems more mature on the field.
hope this is the start of a legendary cycle, regarding our potential in midfield:
kovacic, brozovic, crisetig, duncan, benassi, taider, bessa (who seems to have redeemed himself).
if at least 2 of them become very good/international class....:closeenough:

MAMMA BROZOVIC: "INTER IS A DREAM, MARCELO HAS MADE IT REALITY. WILL SUCCEED ..."
Marcelo Brozovic, these are days unique, unforgettable, for those who remember such moments in which his life has changed: today, the young Croatian signed for Inter and has realized a dream, "his dream as a child. "Word of the same mother's new midfielder, Sanja Brozovic.
It 's the mother of Marcelo for having told, the Croatian press, some anecdotes on the passage of the child at Inter: "I am proud, but also sad because he went to Milan. We are used to the family Sunday , especially the dinners, and now we will have to get used to the fact that he will not be. But I am happy because my son is happy. Marcelo started playing football in third grade. We addressed to all the activities and games. My husband, myself and grandfather of Marcelo we always went to at all the matches, both when he played in Dragovoljac, the Lokomotiv Zagreb, and finally, in Dinamo. We were thrilled when he signed for Dinamo, we were incredibly proud when he wore the jersey of Croatia, and is now realizing his childhood dream. With him in Italy went my husband, I had to stay at home with her daughter and another son. We have always believed in our son, I'm sure he will be successful at Inter. I know that will justify the confidence of Inter, which can not be discussed. Everything happened in a hurry? Yes, I took him to Maksimir, went to Spain to withdraw to La Manga and here, as there is left for Italy. I could not give him advice. Expect to know how it is in another country, with a new language and new teammates. It is not easy, but he will get used to it. We sacrificed a lot for Marcelo, even when he did not pass the driving test, we continued to take him anywhere to buy shoes, suits, balloons, and everything to succeed. Well, now is a dream come true. "

Still better than Reus who had to fake the licence. :datass:
He last played on 11th December, probably Mancini will start using him in March!
Anyone can explain what is this conditional obligation to buy?
What are the conditions for signing him permanently?
Most probably appearance and performance related parameters.
But it was not made public.
Anything but that groundbreaking obligatory 1 appearance clause. :yao:

Hopefully Brozovic can develop here similar to the way Rakitic developed in Seville. I remember when we were linked to him at Schalke, no one really rated him.
Looks like he is not very welcomed in the team.
LOL
For how long time has he been in the club? Come on.

It doesn't look like Kovacic is remotely interested in Brozovic.
I would have expected more contact between them, since this fucker doesn't speak any languages.
Looks like he is not very welcomed in the team.
The other thing is that it's not all fun and games anymore, since the defeat.
I'm guessing Mancini had some really harsh words to the team.
No more hand holding and shit.
Also saw that... but that's what they want you to think... that they really care, and all the fairy shit is gone, but I think they selectively picked the serious photos (players remorsely listening to Mancini, not giving a single fuck about Brosovic) so that we perceive they feel bad for Sunday's loss.

I'm sure Icardi/Juan Jesus will SAVE you and give you his hairstylist's number. Heck, he will probably instantly book you for a quick change. You can't walk around like THAT in this club.

And plus he's not going to be acting in a movie he's here to play football so cut him some slack, if you don't like him it's your problem but as a supporter of the club you should get behind him because you're going to be seeing a lot of him. And this mentality of hoping players will fail because you don't like them is ridiculous.

This boy is nervous as hell if he has teh attention off the field. Was the same landing at the airport. He cant keep siiting calm for a minute in press conference, and you can see him wishing time is over. Actually he made it, and wen won't see him at press meetings quite often in the future. Doesn't matter at all, if he has worth in the pitch. We are not in need of a poet, but of decent players.
Only question i got is, who had the shit idea, sitting this boy on a desk chair, made him spinning left to right all the time?! Nervous person needs a tight standing/ sitting possibility on stage, to get security. Media experienced club should think about these cases, preparating players best as possible.

I mean 6 pages and still nobody has posted something about him and what kind of player he is. Its like we took someone from Vardar here, and nobody has a clue of who he is and how he plays.
Seriously guys (croatians), write something about him, even his wiki has nothing or the transfermark or all the sources one goes for info in a situation like this.
There are some information about him in his thread in "Transfer Rumors".

This is the Marcelo Brozovic thread, not the fucken "who would you fuck out of Inter's players if you were a woman" thread. Stop talking about looks in a football forum.
Messi can barely read. Tevez couldn't learn English despite spending 10 years in England. Not even talking about his looks... yet he's a champion and an amazing player.

8 mil for never heard Croatian league player might also have a part of my reaction about him.
The last expensive never heard Croatian league player we bought also happens to be our best.
I wouldn't compare Kova to Brozovic.

When he scores his first goal, he's gonna lift his shirt to reveal "fuck fif". You shallow fucks, he is beautiful.
I am looking forward to seeing what this guy's got. God knows our midfield needs help. A runner, with some technical ability, would help us a lot. Oh wait, thats what Guarin supposedly offers... Guarin was supposed to be our Stankovic replacement. Thats why he impersonates CR7 sometimes (Stankovic was a central midfielder with a good engine later in his career, but a wide midfielder who could cross before that).
More technical than Medel, smarter than Guarin, harder working than M'Vila. Thats what I am hoping for. That he is not 'book smart' is nothing but a source of amusement. I've known some fantastic youth footballers who weren't that sharp, off the soccer field. Doesn't mean shit, as far as the coach/team is concerned. Being a hard worker on the training ground counts for A LOT.
Reps, reps and reps, can't help but make you a more technical player, and of course your physical ability improves as well. The mental side, IMO, is usually developed through playing experience. Thats why there is the big difference between players who get regular football while developing, and those that do not.

there were glimpses tbh. he didnt make any mistakes either. id play him over guaro or kova next time.

He made a really great cross to Dodo. He seemed composed from what I noticed but it's too early to judge.

Composed on the ball, seems to have decent technique. But he would be wasted if he got put on the wing going forward, he is really not that fast, got a proper engine though, often most distance covered on national team.

we need a player to win aerial challenges in the middle, as Medel is somehow short of that.

It was really nice to see someone passing forwards near the halfway line. There was one instance late in the game where he could easily have gone backwards to sideways but instead went forward to a player who was under pressure. The pass was pre use and not lost.

I told you that Marcelo will be goo in Inter. He is a player that sooner or later will prosper in Italian football cause he plays good in both directions.
He had a solid first game. But expect more from him when he fully adapts to the new team, and his team mates start to trust him more.
He will soon look more techincally good, and he will pass even better. Yes he misplaces a pass or two during a game, but his stlye for me is similar to Modric passing brain and diversity, pretty direct and good playmaker. Also he is capable of far more defensive contribution cause his stamina is immensly good. Definetely will be an upgrade form Kuzmanovic and Guarin.
Expect some goals from him aswell.
I think we should expect him to misplace some passes if we want him to try some more risky and dangerous passes. There's no point in playing safe like Kuz because we can't be dangerous that way.
Its a nice change having a midfielder who is technical as well as hard working (defensively)

very excited to see them both playing together
Excited? Not really. Not at least for now, we have to start winning, get into the top spots then we can see what's about excitement.
Fuck them pics. I want spirit in the pitch!

We wouldn't have had that corner that Guarin scored off of if it wasn't for this man. Grande.

Like a lil Cuchu. Welcome to Inter, Cuchinho!!
What a fucking game. He was all over the place and just ran his socks off. Was always cleaver and smart in his passes, really facilitated the game for us. Amazing player.
Boss. He tries incisive passes, yet still hardly ever loses the ball.

What a beast! This guy is amazing. All over the place, and the stamina of 99 Gargano's . Both attack, defense..
passing was good, calm on the ball.
Awesome player
Great game today, had a couple sloppy moments on the ball but was mostly very neat, but I was even more impressed by his movement off the ball - worked hard and always made himself available in good positions. He clearly has a good football brain.
indeed amazing - the missing link.
even more amazing is how well and naturally he's gelled completely with the team.

Amazing transfer...keep it up Bro
Brozovic stats against Palermo:
59 Passes (Most Passes), 83.1% Passing Accuracy
2 Key Passes, 2 Shots, 2 Dribbles
3 Crosses, 7 Tackles (Most), 2 Interceptions
I thought at this point we'd be fighting to pick whose the signing of the winter between Podolski and Shakira, but there is no doubt that Brozovic is our best signing, not just this winter, but in more than 2 years.
Glad to have you here, fucken finally!

You are wrong sire.
Kova is Il professore, Brozmanovic is Il Brofessore. Two very different things.
