No disrespect but I think it sucks when teams like Italy and Spain have to face each other in a knockout stage so early, and then you have these 2.

One of Italy or Spain won't even make it to the quarters which is a shame.. I'd prefer to watch all the bigger better national teams to face off in the Quarter's onwards. Thats just my opinion.

The way the draw is done is strange. Some group winners face third place, some winners face second place? Group winners vs runners up is harsh (Italy-Spain), especially when Switzerland and Poland are both runners up facing eachother.

The qualifying to the knockout stage is just weird. I blame the additional teams.

I just did some calculations, and if theyre right then it means that only one of Germany, England, Portugal (providing they finish as runners up), France, Italy or Spain will make it to the final. The other side of the bracket means that it is very possible for someone like Croatia/Belgium/Wales/Switzerland/Poland to make it in the final.

Fucking hell. We missed some clear cut chances and paid the price in the pens. What a beast goal from Shaqiri - probably the best goal of the Euros. It was an even match, can't say Poland didn't deserve it.

All in all it was a fun game to watch towards the end.
