My predictions for France and Denmark to go through, although Peru will bite hard for the knock out phase.

France for their players will be 1st
Will have to go with Peru. They shouldn’t be at the WC but for Chile being idiots they are here. Peru is a cup team. They always do well in Copa America and just because they don’t have a ton of euro based players doesn’t mean they should be written off
Can't see why Denmark shouldn't advance with the King in the team.
Hoping Australia can stunt against France and at least go through. I would also love this for my dear little Bertje van Marwijk, my childhood WC 2010 hero :proud: Hopefully he can fix that ending and go all the way this time :proud:

Forza Sainsbury
Sainsbury just made Dembele his bitch
Sainsbury blew up the ball and back pocketed Griezman himself
We should bring him back

Looks like Australia aint going to be a walk in the park for France

France need to make a sub at halftime, Zidane for Deschamps.

France plays like Inter, 0 idea and clueless :oblivious:. Pogba and Dembele was awful

France really lack creativity. Pogba has mostly been sleepwalking this game. Griezmann is really cut off and isolated. Mbappe is trying to move in between the lines but they need more help. Dembele should get subbed off soon.

This actually may be the type of game France need Giroud.
What an asshole of a match. Here I was hoping for France to tear us a new one, instead Deschamps is playing fucking Mancini football with 3 DM's and relying on hopeful crosses. Fucken losers. France are perpetually overrated (along with Portugal) but this is just a garbage showing.

Controversial but i can see why it was given
Looks like he actually did slightly touch the ball, but also slightly touched the player.

Umtiti:palm:
Umtiti what the fuck. What a spastic.
our trent boy will give the win to the socceroos. :fuckyea:
Fucking Matuidi on??? Is Deschamps fucking trying to save the 1-1? What kind of loser shit is this?
ScottishInterista
16 Jun 18, 12:36
Why bring on Matuidi? Surely there are more offensive options

Unlucky Aussies
Now that's luck. But France sucked today.

I fucking hate the BBC commentator.
Fucking shit goal from Pogba. Was that even a deliberate shot? Looks like he tried to control the ball and it came off the defender. Not to mention the terrible return pass from Giroud.
 laughably bad match from France.

I fucking hate the BBC commentator.
Mark Lawrenson complains about everything.
Hernandez is a fucking flog.
Australia didn't deserve to lose, France is really shit for a squade full of stars, Deschamp is a tool.
france were lucky today but if they keep playing like this they won't go far.

I like Atletico Madrid but man, Lucas Hernandez is Dybala level diver. Not sure how the refs fall for his garbage all the time. Needs to be booked for that crap.
France not impressive at all. Goal was given to Pogba but I thought it was an own goal.

Peru get a penalty through VAR and it gets put over because of a shitty run up
You could tell he was going to miss with that retarded run up.
CoolMan44
16 Jun 18, 17:54
The ref in the game is horrible. How do you not call the as a penalty right away?
Unless I'm missing someone, Carrillo is the only Peruvian player I have ever seen play a minute of football before.

Farfan?
Farfan?
The name is familiar but I don't remember him at all. Apparently he played for Schalke when they knocked us out of the UCL?

This game sort of reminds me of a Europa League game, 2 teams you dont really know having a good game on the pitch

How the fuck have Peru not scored.

Peru-Denmark is like 17th century history. South Americans have all the treasure and Europeans come to steal it away :D
Great performance by them, should have won but that's part of the game.

Peru were a much better team than I expected, actually. Probably deserved at least a draw there. They still have a chance at qualifying if they can snatch a draw against France and then manage to win against Australia with a better goal difference.
France weren't convincing at all despite the win. Deschamps is struggling to make a team out of very talented bunch. I think they should give more attacking responsibility to Pogba and have Nzonzi shoulder the defensive part along with Kante. Tolisso was disappointing, some neat passing but that's all. They are still the strongest contender to top the group, though.

He played for PSV when they reached the CL semi-finals in 2005, when they were eliminated by BBilan in stoppage time.
Peru played well and Denmark was surprisingly shit probably due to lack of experience from big tournaments as only 5 of the players have played at a WC or at a EC. I hope the performance was just due to nerves. Nevermind 3 points is 3 points...
That was fucking terrible stuff in defence.
no glory for the socceroos
Another handball to the rescue.
Kruse->Arzani ASAP please cheers mate all good.

Matt "The Leaning Tower" Leckie.
Straya to win and complicate this group even further :)

Should be starting.
Sooo if France beats Peru and Denmark and the Footballoos defeat Peru as well, they will be through right?

Decided through goal differences, so Australia need score more than 1 goal againts peru or Denmark lost more than 1 goal.
In conclusion, we're fucked.
Well that's gonna be exciting. I feel like fate won't allow that to happen but who knows!
this is the "who will loose against Argentina or Croazia" group :yao:

Australia just needs to beat Peru, and France to beat Denmark by 2 goals to go through no?
That's pretty realistic, considering Peru has nothing to play for. In fact, I'd say that's the most likely outcome.
France have the right idea to perform in international stage. Go for the simple route one to Giroud who will cushion the ball to Griezmann or any onrushing player. It is much more effective than intricated passing like Spain or Germany do.

France and denmark just need to draw to qualify.
France will rest their first team players and play with their second team, while denmark will play safe and aim for a draw to qualify. I expect a boring 0-0 with a lot of back passes in denmark side while france players will barely press so they are not exhausted for the next round

Actually, second team of France is pretty pretty good...
These kents always make it difficult for themselves. Need close to a miracle now.
Nearly impossible now for Stralia.

The amount of comments shows the interest in this group.
Sucks for Australia... A team that's already out after two losses and 0 points often wants to end things on a better note by showing what they are, or can be worth and unfortunately fk'n Peru did exactly that today...
And fuck France, jesus christ that side is just an insult to football, so fucking boring it could put me to sleep in the middle of the day. Solely dragging down the average enjoyment level of this WC. Hope they'll be punished for it next round. No wonder there's no interest in this group.
France aint going anywhere playing like they did in group stages, especially today against Denmark.
Shit game in overall.

Peru a better team then France and Denmark
Their idiot coach benched their best player the 1st game and then that cunt Cueva missed a PK. Killed their spirit
Against France very unlucky up top.
