Hopefully Lukaku scores few goals.
Japan looked good against Senegal but poor against Poland. Not sure why they made so many changes against Poland.

They were playing soft and not to lose. BS conservative tactics when they saw Colombia scored.

Yea man but Poland should have qualified. Senegal and Japan are the two luckiest teams in the world. Senegal scores 4 goals, 3 of them were basically own goals.
Japan barely barely beat a 10 man Colombia with an extra player all game. A Ospina fk up is what gave them
The game. Japan should make a Statue of a Colombian for what we gifted them in group stage
That being said. That bullshit I saw against England. I hope Japan troll wins this game :)

Japan shall concede any second. Midfield can't win balls.

Really good first half from Japan. Their players are all decent in possession and know how to penetrate. Still Belgium should win this with their talents up front. Not to mention they have other firepowers from the bench.

I'd say the final 15 minutes were decent. Defended the box and corners well. That first 30 was scary

Told you guys. Against a somewhat 'decent' opposition they all crumble. Golden generation my ass. Thanks for leaving Nainggolan home, Spanish cunt

Individual quality is not really the problem.
Belgiums attack is so impotent like Inter's after the Christmas break.
Captain Tsubasa in real life.
Roberto Martinez is a disgrace. Leave him in Russia.
Lol. Whoever didn't see this coming, didn't really know the Belgian NT.

How do you concede a goal from a corner in your favor in the last minute of the game...
Great counter though

Fuck. Really wanted Japan to go through. Harsh reality for them.
Respect to the Japanese. They fought hard and made it difficult for Belgium.

:)
Last goal is precisely like all the goals scored against us because of nagatomo incompetence.
Good riddance.
Lukaku is shit though.
He was crucial for the last goal, first by running to the middle to open all the right flank and then by opening the legs putting Chadli 1 on 1 with the keeper.

yep...
how ironic that we needed to sell him before qualifing for CL

The most tragic match.. this is too cruel for Japan not even Tsubasa movie cant compete with this.
Lukaku is shit though.
The Japanese had to cover him intensely all the time due to his physique which was way better than theirs. That made openings which especially the smaller Belgian wingers made a lot of use of. He should had scored on the header he got late in the match but otherwise I don't think he was shit.

He wasn't shit , far from it. He should have scored at least a goal but overall he was good enough.
Anyways on the game, Fellaini gets so much shit but delivers more often than not. He should be played in this role, near to the box rather than as midfielder. he is a nuisance to handle and creates space. Good squad option.
Overall very good game and impressed with Japan. Their technical ability was very good, they lack physicality though, that's one of their main issue. Hard luck losing like that.
Lukaku is shit though.
Yeah he only just had the greatest dummy ever to setup the game winner.....
I agree. Japan often show a great fighting spirit and an amazing pace with a great optimism. Unlucky for them they don't have the genes to grow any taller or improve a lot in their physicality. I often like to watch Japan in the WCs due to their strengths and as their game is different from probably all European NTs.

Props to Martinez. Good subs...very good coach.
His weakness is setting up defense, it was big weakness at Everton and looks like he still has same issues.
Martinez is an idiot
lukaku is an idiot
Fellani is an idiot

True that. But if it wasn’t for Lukakus misses, this game would have never gotten to that point imo
Respect to Japan,pride of Asia

I mean sending Fellaini up top for headers against 5 foot 7 Japanese defenders is not exactly a genius tactic. It should have been done since minute 1.

02 Jul 18, 23:12
Not just of Fellaini...he changed the style of play too..they started playing much more direct and vertical.
Yes, the result also dictated that too.
But, Up to certain point they were trying to play tiki taka shit...he adjusted pretty good, and yeah, the subs were ON POINT.
Credit were credit is due...no coach has been perfect so far in this WC. It’s all about in game adjustments.

In the first half I remember Carasco's foot being pulled by Hasebe in the penalty box but he stayed on his feet and continued play. It was really refreshing to see that when you have cunts like Neymar and Suarez falling and crying like pussies all over the place.
Nagatomo lol, that's why he isn't around anymore. 2 of the goals were conceded from his side of the pitch.
