MILANO - Si chiama Manuel Alves Barbosa, detto "Coelho". Portoghese, attaccante, classe 1990.

His the under 17 Portuegese captain. Who says we dont sign decent young players?:P

This guy look really very talanted. Let's hope he will perform nice in one of our youth teams :)

I think one year in youth team plus his international expirience with Porugal U-17 team will be good enough for him to develop and play for Inter First Team next season :)

At the bottom of the article it says that he was being scouted by Chelea. Can't be that bad if Jose Mourinho was keeping an eye out on him.

It cannot be bad, because Coelho is already with Inter :) Chelsea cannot take him from us, because he recently signed a contract with us, even though this contract is youth one. Chelsea have to wait at least one year.

In February he will be 17 and Inter will be able to sign professional contract with him. So Mourinho and Chelsea are dismissed

 What a silly comment Hasan.

You make it sound like we are the only team in the world who dont have regular players coming up.

Unless you want Inter somewhere near mid table, dont keep asking for young players to keep starting over the players we have bought for millions.

No man, we are not the only club in the world who don't discover young tallent, probllem is that we buying too much. Take a look guys like Pirlo,Mutu,R.Keane(disslike him),Silvestre... all of them are must move away to succes. Now we have Andreoli, great tallent so why don't give him a chance to replace J.Zanetti, but NO, we'r buying Maicon and Andreolli will sit on the bench all season. We are not Arsenal or Barca to make worldcllass players but I hope we will start to be one, that comment was a litlle joke, we'r making progress with youngsterss so I really hope that with right coaches that Coleho guy will be new Xavi and Ribas(name sounds great) will be new Messi, but to succesed we must give them a chance.

100% agree :) We are not giving chance to youngsters. I really don't understand why we bought Maicon. I have never heard about him before. I don't think he is much better than Andreolli.

By sitting on the bench and playing in Serie C no one will become great player.

Man you are so off literally.

We give plenty of youngsters chances. Marino was given a chance and he did well, we liked what we saw yet we needed to give him more experience so he was loaned.

Boumsong, did exactly what Marino did last year.

Andreolli got plenty of chances for a guy his age, heck if it wasnt for that injury he sustained he would of played a little more.

Your upset at Maicon? Andreolli is a CBBBB!! damnit. not a RB, Maicon is young and talented who has more experience then Andreolli who is a CB ill add that again.

Alot of players get chances but you need to understand, there will only be a dime a dozen. Look at Della Fiore, we gave him a go at Treviso and he didnt impress anybody really.

Potenza was loaned out for years, yet NO team tried to resign him. Mallorca released him with 8 other players, if he isnt good enoguh there how can he be here?

We wil see this season how talanted our new signings are :) i am more than sure that Andreolli will get lots of chances this season. I want that finally Inter will have good player from its own Youth System.

But let's don't forget to whom this thread is dedicated. We have spoken here about our youngsters instead of speaking about "Coelho"

It's so ease to say they are not tallented and go to loan, if we have really tallented boy than we MUST give him a chance. Why Barca didn't loan Messi somwhere??? They are carefull with own chillden but we just send them somwhere, but what we can expect from coaches like Mancini and Mihajlovic, maybe we will sign Sensini to block Andreolli like Miha blocks Burdisso in last two seasons. And I watched Andreolli once in CL against Rangers and he looked great playing RB, maybe thats just one game, don't know.
Palermo president were really exited when he get Della Fiore and I think his value in that transfer is about 4 mil, olso Potenzza is signed for Fiorentina so that's nice job for him too.
One game isn't a chance man, chance is the thing what Wenger was do with Fabregas,Eboue,Sanderos,Toure and even Henry. But no, we can't do that, even I think we would finish third last season with Veron or Bomsong like playmaker or...

FFS, again ill repeat. We DO give them chances, and the good ones make it through. Sometimes we play them with our senior squad and some times they go on loan. That is ALL chances to prove.

Why Barca didn't loan Messi somwhere???

 Do you want to re think that comment? Inter dont have any Messi's. No one has any Messi's. and if they did obviously they would get treated better then a Momente.

Fabregas,Eboue,Sanderos,Toure and even Henry.

Out of those names, who is from Arsenals youth system?

You totally underrate out management of young players. We got Burdisso and Andreolli, defenders arent at their peak until about 28 and over, defence is all experience. Just imagine how good they will get.

They got Slavkovski, Oba, Adriano, Ribas, Coelho.

Please ill say it one last time, our management already know which youngsters have a very bright future, the rest are simply making numbers or are loaned out to try and prove them wrong.

And in almost every big team in the world, very little nubmer of stars make it, which is the same at Inter.

OK man ,if you bellive our managment is succesfull than I will respect that.
Someone who have Pirlo in youth sisstem and can't see his tallent is bad coach for me.
And I didn't say for tht players are Arsenal youth sisstem but they are come just like Slavkovski,Coelho and Ribas but all of them are proven coz they have great chances.
We are pay Adriano twice and now you telling that's righ thing to do, that co.ownership deal with Parma is so stupped.
Martins are given a chance by exitend agains Leverkusen coz we have 5 injured stikers.
I really hope that you'r right and I am wrong ...

Impressive scoring numbers etc.

But I'm not jumping. A signing of a 16-year-old rarely turns out good for Inter anyway.

Tardelli wasn't that much of a coach, I believe. There's your answer for the Pirlo case.

Comparing Messi and Momente? I'm laughing.

So you're complaining, now, that Oba made it to the team (something he's not worthy of)? Well, well....

Anyhow, youngsters come and go. In their teenages humans change. A lot of thing happens. You can be the world's greatest prospect at 13, but six years later you're a mail man for the summer.
