Seriously, how many facebook accounts does Sneijder have? Now this is the second one I have seen. The first he had around 5,000 friends, and this is barely 300.

Sneijder and lucio won't play tomorrow. Serie a and cl are more important, they won't be risked for coppa.

Wes also confirmed it on his facebook account that he is injured.

I definitely wouldn't risk him. Scudetto is almost in our hands and Sneijder will give it to us. Also CL final is there so no point risking the injury at this point. Losing Coppa final to Roma is disgusting but Scudetto+CL final is more important.

It's better for Sneijder to make a full recovery. Scudetto and CL are much more important than the Coppa Italia. Same thing goes to Lucio.

Dear Vito,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, I have been stampeded by a herd of unicorns on the way to training this morning. I will no longer be able to play football, but Mourinho feels that Quaresma is ready to fill in for me after achieving his Level 10 Sorcery degree.

Next time we should play with very physical players against Roma to smash their asses up. We played a war yesterday, not a football match.

Zuperman8
06 May 10, 17:59
He said: "I got a kick on my leg and some blood came out, but I feel better now. I can walk on it so we will see what happens.''

Sneijder was delighted Jose Mourinho's men had landed the first trophy in what could see them record a treble as they currently lead Serie A while the meeting with Bayern in Madrid looms large.

"I'm very happy about my first title in Italy,'' he said. "We can take two more this year and we have to go for it, but the most important one is the first one and now we have to keep focused and win two more titles.

"Madrid is two-and-a-half weeks away, so first we will win the league and then we will look forward to the Champions League title.''

Well, maybe now, at least not START with Sneijder? Then look how the game is going and bring him in to make the difference or bring stability. Even though the injury he suffered against Roma had nothing to do with the previous injury, it just shows that anything can happen. I think that we have pretty good chances to win against Chievo without Sneijder starting so maybe save him just for the precaution.

The priority list where we need Sneijder:
1. CL final
2. Siena
3. Chievo

Nyall
06 May 10, 23:21
How old are you people 1? Do you keep falling for the same peek-a-boo jokes and laugh at them each and everytime?! It's like you people just can't get a hint can you? How many times has this shit been repeated? How many times was Wesley not supposed to play but instead starts the game? All the other injuries could have been more legit but this one was a bruise for crying out loud and he walked off the fucking pitch. Later that night he was celebrating and walking normally. If Wesley were really out we would know by now, trust me..

And if that really keeps Wesley out of the biggest game of his career, the game he's waited 25 years for then he's the biggest pussy in the world. It hurts like hell sure but it's still a bruise, and an external one at that. Put a band-aid on that on have him on the field on Sunday against Chievo so we can win and Roma lose.

Not a lot of humiliating of Siena going on during match in Milan. Hopefully the team aren't feeling quite as cocky as some members of the forum ...

Sneijder will surely play from the start - it's Mou's way never to risk the results by keeping key players on the bench. And I also think this is the best way to go, as it is a crucial game of the Serie A; some risks must be taken!

he was virtually anonymous the majority of the game

if anything, he shouldve tried to find the ball more often, or out wide where there was plenty of room to operate

The whole system looked a little screwy yesterday -- Wes was playing way up the pitch, sometimes even with Milito, and Motta was sitting very deep in Cuchu's usual spot, while Cuchu played further up the pitch and was more involved in the attack. Made me wonder if Jose was experimenting a bit for Bayern, though I don't know why he'd want to push Cuchu up in that match.

I'm not too worried Hal.

1) Having not played for 2-3 matches, he doesn't have the match fitness. He may even still suffer from the niggling injury.

2) Mou surely noticed that and bypass our midfield a lot, hence the number of long balls from our defenders.

3) It can also be considered a wise tactic, considering how packed the Siena midfield was.

4) After the long balls didn't work, we did go through Sneijder for the last few minutes of the 1st half IIRC and he didn't do too badly.

Bottom line is, I'm sure it has to do with his fitness condition. But yes, I'm worried that he may not have enough 'games on his feet' coming in to the CL final.

Well, we can't expect others to make space for us, that's why we invest millions in buying "great" players, so they can make it easier, and not the opponent... Even though Sneijder isn't really fit for 90 minutes, I hope he will help us in the final.

Pretty well negotiated by Moratti/Branca. In case of a victory, we can afford to pay easily that extra 3m€ making the transfer fee almost 18m€, which is still a fucking steal looking the situation now after the season. If we don't win it, then Sneijder is a big, big steal considering we won the double and got plenty of money and success in CL.

Oh please, now this is getting ridiculous...:rollani:

I knew all these stories about our players possibly leaving would inevitably pop up, but they all seem as stories designed to sell newspapers rather than based on actual information.

I highly doubt Sneijder would go back AFTER ONLY 1 season, and moreover he would return to a club which has treated him like a turd. Plus, on the night we won the CL he declared he is staying. And furthermore, Moratti isn't stupid to let go of all these players.

I even heard certain newspapers have declared Mourinho wants Chivu at Inter :rollani:

While I highly doubt any of these players will leave to follow Mourinho, me must all be warned because the rumor merry-go-round will be winding like crazy this summer speculating on players to follow Mourinho.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see stories saying that Mourinho wants Zanetti at Real, or better yet Mourinho wants Moratti as co-president with Perez! :P

lmao :D:D

Here where I live, part of the joy that is kebabs is the novelty of their cheapness.

Don't get me wrong, there are some excellent Turkish/Lebanese restaurants that make the highest quality kebabs I've ever had. But they simply aren't as good as the kebabs from the seedy little shop near me called Magic Kebab. The shop is tiny and rather dirty and the staff smoke cigarettes while making your kebab but it all adds to the hilarity and novelty of the occasion. Nothing better than kebabs for post-drinking food.

I'd take dirty little kebab shop with suspect looking staff over clean, brightly-lit reputable shop with high quality organic ingredients any day.

Thus, it is my conclusion Hiddink won't come.

honestly doubt he will go, unless he really doesn't have self respect, after the way real threw him out, the management really treated him like shit in the summer, he will just be a littel whore if he goes back lol

After transfer like this one, RM would look stupid like never before. Selling Wesley to Inter for peanuts if we consider what we've won with him and then taking him backing for a bigger sum

A yo yo of love/hate among many of you wrt RM...One second you're singing their praises, the next how stupid they are http://www.tiki-taka.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif

Moreover, wonder what the senitments and memories of Wesley would be were he to return to RM after 'kissing the badge'

Well, they have to let go Sneijder.,,,

After signing CR and Kaka..., it's to much of in their midfield..
Their transfer strategy has benefited us and Bayern...
This season could be the same....
Mou will ditch many players, and some of them are very good..
Let's hope we can get some players that we need.

At least he kissed the badge when he had great emotions. He won UCL for god's sake. It's every footballer's dream. And Zlatan ? Somehow I see a big difference between those two kisses.

I'm certain Sneijder wont leave. However I would not persoanlly let all these badge kissing business (unless it's the likes of Zanetti/Totti and a few others) influence my thoughts around a players/coaches. Hence we should not read much into it.
After all they could kiss our badge and leave in the same season (Mou) OR leave us and kiss someone elses few days later (Ibra). Such actions should not be taken seriously. ;)

Doesn't really matter if they kiss or lick the jersey. Unless they've been with the club for at least 4-5 years, it means nada.

Sneijder is not leaving. Pretty God damn sure.

1) Moratti won't let him
2) He doesn't sell enough shirts
3) If he has even an ounce of pride, he won't go back to RM

Intermilano90

Sneijder said he might return to RM because of Mourinho only. If Mourinho is still our coach for next season then none of our players' future is in doubt.

end of story.

That full interview, which is here

Inter's Wesley Sneijder has denied the rumours of a move to Real Madrid. "I am staying in Milan," he told Dutch television Nos. "I have had a fantastic year and won three trophies. Inter will have to defend them and they will do it with me."

Sneijder has not ruled out moves in the future, but he assured that he will continue to wear the Inter jersey next season.

Several media have indicated Sneijder as one of the Inter players who might follow José Mourinho to Real Madrid, along with Maicon and Milito. But the Dutch midfielder, who is currently with his Oranje team-mates in Sefeld, Austria for a training camp, reassured the fans: "I have never spoken about it with Mourinho."

After the exertions of Saturday's Champions League final in Madrid, Sneijder will be rested in tonight's World Cup warm-up against Mexico.

is quite more upfront than we're used to from inter. See the bolded part..

Bollocks, I don't see Mou staying at a team for 10 years, I think he'll go wherever there's a challenge, with us he felt his challenge was complete, now his challenge is taking Real back to the top.
