Kinda of a Hobson's choice with this match up. Either stick it to them with mostly starting lineup or bring on the substitutes. Sassuolo will be fighting for lives and its away. Agree with above that Frattesi should start along with Dumfries ( only a 1 match ban iirc), Augusto and Asllani would be nice. If Inter can get Pavard a goal then Bisseck can play the rest of the season else sub him on at 60min.

They just lost 5:1 to Fiorentina. At best, they can get a draw from this upcoming game. Their last 5 games-2 losses and 3 draws.

We lost only once this season, it’s against these fuckers. I wouldnt want finishing the season without at leaste one 3 points against Sassuolo, sending them back to Serie B sounds like a good idea.

A record that I think Inter should be keeping one eye on is Milan's lofty 54 League game unbeaten from 92-93. We're only halfway there of course, but remember that the team has barely trailed in League games this season, yet alone looked likely to lose any of them. If it had not been for the Sassuolo aberration the run would be 36 games at the moment.

It doesn't look like our team is interested on breaking record, as far as I can see. Otherwise we would have a sharper approach in some matches. We didn't even gave our best in CL as well, though we did against Atletico Madrid, but it was rather too late, in which made our things complicated.

I would like us to get three points and help Sassuolo to get relegated.

I'm in the minority I guess, but I have some admiration for Sassuolo. Not enough to necessarily be upset about them being relegated but they have an interesting story. I have cousins nearby in Fiorano and there really isn't much there besides the ceramics industry and Ferrari (great place to stop by if you want to see/hear new Ferraris ripping through the hillside). They managed to break through to the top tier of the italian game and became a mainstay for many seasons, giving a small town many famous victories (inter included). I couldn't really care less if their owner is a Bbilanista who celebrates beating inter. They're the little guys punching above their weightclass; it's what they are supposed to do. Just like they're supposed to get as much for their players as they can when they sell; it's what a selling club does.

But they aren't supposed to get out of skin when it comes to facing Inter, and then basically prepare a cakewalk for Milan, just like they did in Milan's Scudetto winning season. And it's not just about that, but also in previous years, I remember them bending over Gobbi or Milan when it mattered the most, like leaving Berardi out in the most crucial moment, fielding an awkward line-up to make things easier and whatnot.

I'd be okay if they had same approach always, but making such calculations is quite unfair and doesn't contribute anything in a quality football in overall. But then again, life comes at you, so we have a perfect opportunity to kick them even lower. Zero sympathy for them.

They are a dirty team, and they deserve to get relegated. Hopefully they never come back in Serie A ever again.

Yes, I am sure they are constantly meditating on ways they can hurt inter and help Milan and Juve...

Sassuolo have a tremendous record against Milan. Berardi owns them.

Like I said, when it mattered the most, they were always bending over gobbi or Milan. They might have won matches every here and then, but in the Scudetto deciding week, they bended over. I cannot remember exactly particular seasons, I'm pretty sure they have made pathetic approaches against gobbi while the latter had to win at all costs.

You know, twenty fouls in the middle of the pitch never be as deadly as PK.

Yes, absolutely this. Sassuolo have been one of the most interesting stories in Italian football in the past decade and their good management and bold approach has meant they've punched above their weight for way longer than anyone thought. How many small clubs get promoted and grimly try and defend their way to safety, whereas Sassuolo played progressive football year after year despite losing the likes of Locatelli, Raspadori, Scamacca, Frattesi, Boga, Sensi, Duncan, Traore, Marlon, Politano, Demiral, Acerbi and Lorenzo Pellegrini all within the past half dozen seasons.

If they are a bogey team for Inter, well that's the fault of Inter and Inter alone. Why would you disregard a club because they are successful sometimes in winning games of football, their core purpose after all.

Unfortunately, I've seen a handful of people here who believe that when teams lose to milan or juve, they are bending over purposely because they have vendetta against Inter.

I get that Sassuolo didn't do much against Milan in their Scudetto season, but neither did Sampdoria against us on the same day - sometimes these teams with no motivation on the last day just don't show up - not a fan of it, but it is what it is.

Other than that, I don't see why anyone would think Sassuolo play harder against Inter than Milan/Juventus. I'm pretty sure they recently had 3 years in a row that they beat Milan at the San Siro.

It reminds me of when Juventus fans say that Genoa always bends over for Inter, as we had a run against them when we kept winning 4-0 and our aggregate against them was something like 20-0 around the Spalletti/Conte years.

The issue with Sassuolo was that they were acting as a satellite club to Juventus and their owner was.... painted as a Milan fan.

Few more:
Inter need two clean sheets from their four remaining matches to set a new record in a single Serie A season (22)!
Inter are the 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 team in Europe's top five leagues to have scored in every single one of their league matches this season.
