Surely it's just a matter of time, but Milan would've mathematically clinched CL qualification with a win, as it is they're still 2 points shy from being there.
I don't see Juve, Roma and Bologna challenge them . They will be the second in the table.

We hardly needed Bremer this season, there would be no Thuram with a Dybala in the team, I know which of those I prefer and it’s not Dybala. Bremer likely also would have blocked a Pavard deal.

Choosing Lukaku on a one season loan over Dybala on a free permanent transfer is the single worst decision Marotta has made at this club.
Might, but reality is still that a Dybala would have blocked a Thuram, we only got Thuram because there was made room for him on the payroll because Lukaku decided not to come. If it had been a Dybala on the team instead, that situation would never have arisen as he would due to wage have not made it possible for the club to offer the wage package that persuaded Thuram to come here.

This is not FM, there budget and constraints make one move and it will prevent another scenario to happen.

100%. I imagine the monetary incentive of 1 vs. 3 years also played a part considering finances, but still.

I still think Thuram may have come as well, as there would have been room after Dzeko left and Correa went on loan.

As for not needing Bremer this season, sure, but Acerbi is 36 and De Vrij is 31. Would have been real handy to have someone that good in the middle for the next few years. Agreed that if Bremer signs for us, there is no Pavard.

I disagree, with twenty- twenty hind sight not taking 5O million quid for Skriniar was the biggest mistake. Iirc Dybala debate was one of fitness. Inter WITH 50M may have gotten some realistic subs. It's been so long ago, who knows at this point.

Pavard signed thanks to Inter as runner up at last season UCL. without that thing, he won't come here. Barcelona and Man utd also chased him at that time.

btw i love to see a "merry-go-round" relegation battles. a couple of relegation team are a better materials to scout a footballer from there.
