This is a misconception with bosman transfers. Just because there is no transfer fee, doesnt mean he is 'free'. There are typically much larger signing-on fee's in these types of the deals.

Now what the signing-on fee is for Taremi i have no idea, but its surely several million euroes so he is not "free".

3m NET for Taremi is also absurd, considering his age and decline + the fact that he was earning less than 1m NET at Porto.

Age is fine. Just because he had a less successful season, it does not mean he is declining. 3 million net is a good salary for free transfer. I don't want to count agents' fees, but the transfer fee is 0. Sanchez scored a lot of goals for Marcelle and not much this season. Let the coach decide, he is worth 3 million or not. Zielinski coming in at 4.5 mil.

No one hates Mkhitaryan. But it's clear his effectiveness waned when he played too much. Zielinski needs to take some of his responsibilities.

I'm talking about Taremi though.

If Zielinski can, no problems. Maybe they can share games 50/50. But it seems no one complaining about Zielinski's 4.5 mil , but Taremi's 3 mil is too much.

Btw. Zielenski is 2 years younger. So 4.5 is reasonable for 29 year old . And no, he has not been one of the best midfielders in Seia A for many seasons. As far as for Taremi goes, he has been one of the best strikers in Portuguese league for the last 5 years, with almost 90 goals. So 4.5 vs 3 mil. 2 years difference, what is your problem?
