- In the season after the tripletta the average was still 59.697, but eversince it has not been higher than 46.622 (last season).
- Even in '15-'16, when we were the 'capolista' by Christmas, only the matches vs. Milan, Juve, Napoli and Roma we had more than 50.000 spectators. This season our 'worst' match so far is vs. Genoa with 50.037 spectators.
- We didn't have Juve, Roma, Napoli and Lazio at home yet.

Juventus haven't beat Messina and Treviso, whilst it's Carpi, Avellino and Lecco for Milan. So likely that'll never happen.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFWith our all-conquering defensive stats for this season, I decided to jump into the history books to see what records we could potentially be looking to break this season.
Of course, we've at this time already conceded 1 goal more than Gigi Riva's record-breaking 1969-70-season, who ended on 11 conceded goals, at a rate of 0,367 goals conceded per game, an-all time record across the top five European leagues.
If we're looking at goal difference, no one will ever come close to Il Grande Torino's 1947/48 squad of a mind-boggling goal difference of 92 freaking goals (125 goals scored, lol) - this is, of course, also a all-time record across the five leagues.
Never mind records that will never be broken, this was of course also before the three-points-for-a-win era, with Serie A consisting of, for some reason, 21 clubs in 1947, and Cagliari only playing 30 matches during their championship win. Not really comparable to what we're dealing with.
After three points for a win were instated (1994-1995), Roma, who only came second in 2003-04, have the least conceded goals with 19. If we're talking strictly after Serie A was expanded to twenty teams, meaning four matches more, we're striving to beat Juve's 20 conceded goals in both 2011/12 and 2015/16. Definitely doable with 13 games left, seeing as we've conceded 0,48 goals per game in the league this season. Our best defense showing is Trap's 1986-87 squad - besting his own Scudetto winners two seasons later - with 17 goals conceded, and we're certainly beating our best with 20 teams in the league, 26 in 2007-08, unless something very silly happens.
It almost goes without saying, that we currently have the least amount of goals conceded in the league across the top five leagues.
Best goal-difference during the three points for a win era is Juventus with 62+ in 2017-18, so we're 11 goals behind, and I'm almost taking it for granted that we'll beat that with the pace we're going at, assuming we keep playing competitively in the league. If we do that, we're likely to beat our own record goal-difference of 64 (from 1950-51 - incidentally our best scoring season, with 107 goals). Our best with 20 teams in the league was Conte's Scudetto-winning season, with 54 (so three more goals than we have now).
Also, yes, we have the best goal difference currently in Europa as well.
As a side-note, it's crazy how the game and/or the league has evolved. At the time Serie A was considered at its best, Scudetto-winning teams routinely had goal differences at 'only' around 30-35 goals, whilst you could sneak into the top 4 with a goal-difference of 25 most of the time. We were fifth, for instance, in 2000/01 with a goal difference of 0.
It began ramping up around in 2003-04, where every Serie A winner since then (bar us in the Calciopoli-season and in 08/09 and Juventus in 2019/20 and Milan in 2021/02- both actually worse respectively than us those seasons) has a goal-difference of at least 40+.
As an aside, Sommer needs 7 personal clean sheets to beat a plethora of goalkeepers, who are, for some reason, all sharing the record of 21 clean sheets for a league season (Cudicini 1968-69, Rossi 1993-94, Buffon 2011-12 and 2015-16, De Sanctis 2013-14 and Provedel 2022-23), so he needs to stay feber-free. I don't know where to find clean-sheets for clubs and not goalkeepers in a season, but I'm assuming we're up there with Audero's showing against Lecce.
Lots to play for in the league, still.

We're the first team to score at least one goal a match for the first 31 rounds of a season. Let's hope we don't go scoreless the rest of the way, and we'll set something unique.
Also, if we score against Cagliari next match, we'll beat our own record of scoring for the most Serie A matches in a row (40 is the record, we're at 39 after today).
