Longo scores again! Bessa involved as usual...

Up 1-0 on Reggina with 10 minutes left. We win the group with a win today or a loss or draw for Anderlecht. Right now it is Anderlect 1-1 Siena with 3 minutes left, so it appears to be safe!

If anyone deserves a chance in the first team, its Bessa.

Ive only seen Bessa against Sporting, but he was REALLY poor against them. Was very poor on the ball, made lots of bad decisions, poor positioning, and every dribble attempt was to poor impact.

Might have just been an off day for him, he seems really good otherwise, but still

Bessa is nice, takes the responsibility of playmakig and does pretty good, he's the only one who can hold the ball on opponent's half for more than two seconds.

I like Duncan from the midfeield (though that piss poor penalty ), he reminds me of Muntari and he's Ghanian too. I'd really like to see him in first team one day.

We won 2-0 and Duncan missed a PK in the 93rd minute lol. Spendlhofer scored the second goal in the 90th minute from a corner kick. So we have won the group. I believe we play the winner of Girone 12 which could be any of the follwing: Serie D Representatives, Varese or Club Bruges.

Longo missed 3-4 sitters in the 1st half, but he had very nice goal (got the ball with his back to the goal and turned around nicely)..

Apparently is is just a random draw for the knockout round. We will play Parma tomorrow at 15:00 CET. Parma knocked out Milan by beating them 4-0 in the group stage.

Inter tied it 1-1 in the 70th minute, not sure who the scorer was. It is the 90th minute now, so ET is looming...

If we win, we play the winner of Fiorentina-Empoli, which is 0-0 right now and is about to go into ET as well.

Actually now that I think of it, I believe this tournament goes straight into penalties after regulation, so this will be over soon no matter what happens...

    ---------- Post added at 10:56 ---------- Previous post was at 10:51 ----------

End of regulation...1-1, so we are going to PK's.
