imho this is going to be tricky... Cagliari is decent team at home. I think they have only 2-3 defeats there.

    Derby d'Italia, why the rivalry?

    Cagliari is 6-6-3 at home.
    Inter is 6-1-7 away.

I wonder if Strama changes our mentality for this game, we should work on defence - yes, but I'am afraid of bringing back nightmares with goalless draws or troll wins after CK

I just wonder, what would happen, if we would try:
    CASTELAZZI
    ZANETTI-RANOCCHIA-SAMUEL-JUAN JESUS
    POLI-CAMBIASSO-GUARIN
    ALVAREZ-SNEIJDER
    MILITO

I guess we have a huge boost in our morale now, so we should expect nothing but a win. Gotta mention vasilio's statement that teams challenging for top3 have been doing a lot favours to us by dropping points, but we've been worse than them actually. Mathematically we're still on the race and it's not impossible but extremely difficult.

Thanks to Ranieri's exit, we no longer might have to see weird subs game after game and be scared of every half time. Subs are supposed to bring life to the team but with Ranieri, it was exactly the opposite. I respect Tinkerman though. I mean, how was he able to coach big teams like Roma, Inter, Chelsea, Juventus !! Respect Tinkerman !!

Anywaz, I hope Poli will continue with his fine form (thankfully, he wasn't subbed early against Genoa). Zarate looked nice as well but I thought that there more than once occassions, where he should have passed more. Forlan was kind of a disaster sadly but thankfully, Sneijder-Alvarez would be back soon. Hopefully, Guarin will get to play more in this game, as he was able to show some nice touches in the last game. Maicon should also be back for this game, right?

This looks like a good line up but I doubt that we would start with all the 3 players who are making their comeback from injuries and I guess Lucio will continue partnering Samuel.

It depends on if Sneijder will be fit, which is highly doubtful. I don't think Sneijder will feature at all for the rest of the season. I hope to be proven wrong. Alvarez? Stramaccioni will play him and drop him switftly after a few games, that much is certain, it's only a matter of time.

I hope to see the midfield of Poli - Cambiasso - Guarin with Zarate behind the Milito and Pazzini.

Your hate of alvarez is pretty basic pathetic. May not be the most perfect player yet but he's shown what he can do, and I'm pretty sure even you will see that

Not bad but I think Strama prefers Deki(regista=deep lying playmaker) over Cuchu in the DM pos.

Coaster didn't make this thread. We are 1-0 when he doesn't under Andrea. Using this obvious logic, I smell a victory.

Just a idea: if you want a serious debate about football, you should block everybody from countries that NEVER will win nothing and NEVER will have a balon d'or, for example.
Whats the point about those guys opinions??? Can i go to some New Zealand chat and start to teach them how to recognize the better wc prospects among young Rugby players?
Again, if you NEVER saw a young wc prospect struggling in his first years, like Kaka or Ronaldinho who were booed by they local supporters here, how could you judge????

Don't think Sneijder would do all that well out wide. He's struggled there before.

I expect a similar lineup to the one against Genoa. Obviously no JC and maybe Ranocchia in place of Lucio.

I didn't know until today that Lazio-Napoli will be on next week. If this ends as draw and we can win at Caglari (and the next game at home), Lazio has away to Juve to go next game, we could very well be just 2 points from Lazio in 2 games time and 2 from Napoli. Ofcourse Udi and Roma also there 3 and 4 points ahead of us at the moment, but they play eachother in 2 games time too.

    *Don't get your hopes up*

    already did.

Just think of me as the one who ousted Ranieri because that is success in itself!

Do you have the guts to defend your undefeated 1-0 record this season?
