    Nigel de Jong

    NIGEL DE JONG

We are being linked to him more and more often as the days pass. FCInter1908.it seems to think he is now our 'primary' midfield target before Sahin, etc.

    Rumour #1 | Rumour #2 | Rumour #3

Personally, I don't want to see him join the club at all. I don't like his over-zealous playing style, he will get sent off constantly, we need a calmer head in the team than that.

Don't worry man, if he got only yellow card for this, it would be hard to get a red one

Btw, i don't want him at all also

And from all Spanish NT, he had to do that to Alonso..

You see people from Colombia, Oceania, Ireland(i think) pretending that at least ONCE in their life they saw a young wc talent arriving and becoming a world star.

Just a idea: if you want a serious debate about football, you should block everybody from countries that NEVER will win nothing and NEVER will have a balon d'or, for example.
Whats the point about those guys opinions??? Can i go to some New Zealand chat and start to teach them how to recognize the better wc prospects among young Rugby players?
Again, if you NEVER saw a young wc prospect struggling in his first years, like Kaka or Ronaldinho who were booed by they local supporters here, how could you judge????

I too would prefer Sahin, though I don't see them as identical players. De Jong looks more like a hard stopping DM that gets possession using physicality, and Sahin tries to create plays from a deep midfield area. Sahin is pretty much a direct replacement for Stankovic, which I would prefer.

De Jong has nothing to do with Sahin. Total different players.

I want De Jong, our DM-lineup was completely joke in this season.

De Jong has to do with Sahin because, before we wasted 11 million on Palacio, we were led to believe Inter were on a budget. So if we can only purchase one midfielder, then yes, I would prefer an investment in Sahin than De Jong. If we're talking about swapping De Jong for Maicon and keeping the transfer budget open, then you're right.

ofcourse we need another dm! if you think the blame of our bad defense only lays on our cb's then... there is something wrong in you calculations.

I prefer other defensive midfielders over him. Players like Veloso or Sahin. De Jong isn't bad but he doesn't have the passing skills (especially long ball) which are needed for the roll he's gonna have in our squad.

I think we need a stronger midfield, De Jong would fit in well. If the price is right and his salary isnt insane we should move in him

De Jong is definitely fine move for a new DM.But our priority remain the CB reinforcement.

I would take Sahin over de Jong any day but...

Sahin gela tutti: "Io voglio restare al Real"

Sahin wants to stay at Real...

Guys…if we really buy De Jong, that means we have to put up with Cambiasso playing as LCM for 1 more season.

I wouldn't mind it if Sahin was CM and Cambiasso was LCM, since Sahin can actually pass…but De Jong?
    I'm streets ahead.

I wouldn't mind De Jong. A Guarin-de Jong midfield 2 in a 2-3 formation is not bad at all.

exactly why I don't want him here but people love Matrix who was 10x the butcher that De Jong is. Look up Matrix gifs and they are way worse but people find those funny here for some f'd reason.

That's 1 isolated, unfortunate incident from De Jong - he didn't even receive red card for it! He's nothing dirty like Matrix used to be
