    Only Astori is interesting option.

Obviously Astori stands out there but I don't think he really is off contract as surely there would be a whole raft of teams after him if that was the case. Other than him I say that Flamini would probably suit us alright if you disregard the bilan links and the fact he is injury prone. Aronica and Mesto would be solid squad players.

    PINZI! :dino:

Also Miccoli, Aronica, Larrivey, Mesto, Cossu, Kroldrup

Would defo take Astori, also Aronica to replace Chivu as a squad player, Mesto as backup to Maicon if he stays & we fail to land Isla, Kroldrup if we send the young CBs in the team on loan, but now we have Palacio I don't see the need for Miccoli or Larrivey, we have enough AM so no use for Cossu either.

You see people from Colombia, Oceania, Ireland(i think) pretending that at least ONCE in their life they saw a young wc talent arriving and becoming a world star.

Just a idea: if you want a serious debate about football, you should block everybody from countries that NEVER will win nothing and NEVER will have a balon d'or, for example.
Whats the point about those guys opinions??? Can i go to some New Zealand chat and start to teach them how to recognize the better wc prospects among young Rugby players?
Again, if you NEVER saw a young wc prospect struggling in his first years, like Kaka or Ronaldinho who were booed by they local supporters here, how could you judge????

Me too, but no chance of it happening now Palacio has arrived. My guess is he'll end up at Bologna now that Di Vaio has departed for the MLS.

I think Aronica would be a solid backup player for left back. Prolly be very cheap as well...

And why would we need back-up LB?

We have Zanetti and Naga there, plus Jonathan and Maicon for the RB spot. Unless we offload full back, we don't need another one. Especially not a back up.

Zanetti, Naga are the only two full backs who will be staying. Once again, question marks remain on Maicon's availability. And Jonathan is at most a reserve. So that leaves 2.5 people for 2 positions.

Aronica would be a very much a known quantity at a really good salary. If we sell Maicon, we will for sure get a starting full back in either Isla or Kolarov. So that would mean Zanetti and Kolarov/Isla as sure starters. And Aronica and Naga competing for those two positions. That would be a great situation for us...

We don't need Aronica, and it doesn't matter anyway as he's already extended with Napoli.
