My ears aren't earphone compatible. Only ones with silicone caps will stay in my ear - and that too only when I push it in deeply ()

So air pods are not for me but I always have the urge to pluck one off of somebody's ear and sprint away.
It will be called Internazionale, because we are brothers of the world.

Agree with Shark. I can't use airpods or any apple earphones cos they just fall out of my ear within seconds. I buy aftermarket foam tips for my earbuds.

There's no way I can say this without sounding like a pretentious wank so I'll just cop it and say it: most customers are simply uneducated and inexperienced when it comes to audio quality. I'm not an audiophile or a tech enthusiast by any measure, but I would certainly describe myself as above market average.

The biggest factor for me is simply sound quality at a reasonable price, and airpods fail dismally at both those categories. They sound very dull (better than the regular apple earphones, but that's not saying much) and they are stupidly overpriced, like all apple garbage.

You can broadly divide audio products into two categories: pro audio (for professional use, often for making music as opposed to listening) and consumer audio (for regular shitters to listen to Post Malone). In my experience I find the best value to be consumer audio products made by pro audio companies. That means, don't buy fucking beats by dre, or skullcandy or some bullshit, just buy $90 earbuds from Beyerdynamic. Much better sound quality than stock or entry level shit like apple/samsung/bose () and excellent value for money.

While I'm on that subject, music being played out of a phone speaker makes me want to kill myself.

Nothing pretentious about it, it doesn't get pretentious until we start talking about vacuum tubes, golden jacks and amps, that's when you know you are taking it too far. It's rather simple actually, modern music is tailored and produced in such way that it sounds somewhat tolerable on the lowest common denominator gear - aka what 99% of people today use - phone speakers, shitty laptop speakers (which are somehow an even bigger offense than phone speakers) and earbuds/airpods/beats etc. Drivers (speakers) used in that kind of audio stuff are simply too tiny in diameter to be able to reproduce sufficient range of frequencies. Tl;dr that's why it's super hard for earbuds to replicate low frequencies. From a producer's point of view it makes perfect sense because people with $10k in audiophile gear sure as fuck aren't listening to Post Malone and Cardi B to test their gear. I'm not saying all pop music has shit production, far from that, but when you mix audio it's really hard to make it so that it sounds good on everything, there are always some deliberate choices that need to be made.
Most customers indeed are uneducated, but they also thread the line of least resistance and treat modern tech stuff more as fashion accessory than a functional tool for everyday use. That's why shit like beats and airpods are making a killing out there despite being, and I can't state this enough, ridiculously overpriced.

Right on the money. Companies that are almost exclusively audio-related will always make better stuff. AKG, Audio technica, JBL, Sennheiser. Nowadays you can get a really decent pair of headphones for as low as $50-60, toss in another $50-60 for a cheap DAC/amp for them and you got a really neat yet cost-effective setup that will sound great for most uses.

Regarding your last sentence, I don't know if it's just a culture-specific thing for balkans or if it's a global thing, but there is an increasingly common phenomenon going around where teenagers are walking around in public, blasting shit on their phones and bluetooth speakers instead of earbuds. The urge to slap the living shit out of people on occasions gets very difficult to handle.

Sadly, I know exactly what you're talking about. Even worse I've got friends that bought pretty solid portable speakers and somehow deem necessary to create "ambiance" with those wherever we go...
Inter is an artistic venture, almost poetic. It is capable of provoking immense, unreachable joy and bitter disappointment. Its never done by half-measures.
For me, Inter is the opening to new worlds and courage. Its a strong passion, a marvellous illness. You can put up with the weaknesses and admire the courage, the same way you would with a son.

The ones I used and loved were from JBL and Sennheiser.

Currently using a JBL bluetooth set, but with a cable because a) I cannot stand those Apple ones and want to tear the ears apart just to not see them and b) I'd lose anything without a cable, probably under a car seat, where the cable always saves the day, or just anytime I decide to take them off.

Definitely. The fact that the drivers in earbuds are so small is part of why the foam tips made by Comply are very useful. They serve two purposes: sound quality - they can somewhat make up for a lack of low frequency response. And obviously logistics / comfort / molding to fit your ear cavity shape and actually staying in your ear.

Again, not trying to pretend like I'm Einstein among neanderthals, but it's so funny / sad / interesting to see so many unaware people spending $300 for aipods when you can buy a really solid set of earbuds from beyerdynamic for like $70, with foam tips for $10, and get far, far better sound quality and comfort.

They are buying them to "look cool" and because they are gullible marketing victims.

Not many people really research stuff that don't cost more than an x amount. And x usually is $999 or more.

I ll never understand people using Apple/Skullcandy or beat earbuds/headphones their just not worth the money and not nearly as good as people think they are.

That being said after getting some quality headphones i just cant go back to earbuds, and have to say that the investment is 100% worth it if your using them daily, sound quality is so much fucken better and on top of that the noise canceling actually fucking works so even if some cunt is blasting his sound on a phone or a mobile speaker you wont notice it.

Like back in the days i used to buy fucken 50usd earbuds that would go to shit within 6 months max. Now i buy a good pair of headphones and they last 2/3 years. Actually my old ones still work fine and their like 3 years old so for me it s definitely worth spending some money on good gear.

Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?

Wearing headphones in public must feel how those kids with the full headgear braces felt.

I really do not give a shit about that like how fucken insecure do you have to be to not be able to wear headphones in public because it might not look to great?

The only real downside is that in summer it gets annoying if it s really hot and you are wearing your headphones.

I don't really care tbh. I used to wear them in the London Underground all the time. Those were the Sennheiser set I mentioned earlier. It was just brilliant.

But I prefer the ear phones for some reason. Not much to do with aesthetics as much as having the ability to sneak them inside my pocket at any given time whilst I needed to carry a bag to get the other ones off.

Well since you compared it to braces i thought it was about the looks....

Thing is most of the time i have a bag/backpack with me anyways like unless i go drinking i usually have my backpack or some sort of bag with me when i go to a meeting, when i go to work out or when i go shopping but you have a point there.

Anyways i just think if you care about Price/quality and over all sound quality the headphones are just a much better choice over earbuds.

For me the biggest downside are that i cant wear them when working out cause they d get very sweaty.

Earbuds for sure, small, you can stash them in ur pocket or bag, work out with them etc..

Headphones are a great option for use at home though, but they have to be comfortable is the key.

I had enough of dealing with cables breaking regularly, so I went Bluetooth.

And the fact that phones nowadays don’t have headphone jack, carrying another piece of adapter is a deal breaker for me.

I used to carry a separate DAP and even AMP, I guess I just got old that’s all.

I guess it doesn’t really matter in NZ as we have no public transport, we just hop on and off the car between two locations, so there’s no real need for headphones.
