Inter Directors Ausilio & Baccin Set To Renew Contracts Until 2022

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio will soon prolong his contract with the club until the end of the 2021/22 season according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira.

Ausilio’s present deal is due to expire at the end of the season and this renewal will bring the expiry date of his contract in line with that of chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and Inter manager Antonio Conte.

Schira also details that Ausilio’s right hand man Dario Baccin will also extend his deal until 2022 with announcements expected to be made in the coming days.

Didn't realize Ausilio had a "right hand man", but I guess it makes sense - Ausilio couldn't f'k things up so consistently without getting some help.

Lack of money and coaches not wanting him because he was a 'prospect' and not a ready player.

Fair tbh. He's obviously much more expensive now, but he's also much more ready. Not sure how much Udinese would ask for, but can't imagine they could realistically demand more than €25-30m. I'd be happy with De Paul for a figure that price range. I preferred him to Politano 2 years ago and he can do a job in multiple positions.

Regarding Ausilio, I'm happy he's signed an extension.
