    Isaac Donkor

Ghanaian defender (mainly cb, played as wb too for the Primavera), born on 15/08/95.

Debuted today at age of only 17 and 3 months, I think he should be one of the youngest ever to debut for Inter.

I see he is a defender but where does he actually play? Centre back or full back?

He played as a full back for the primavera some times (by the formations of inter.it).

Not as far as i remember. Maybe lb once? The primavera formation kistings are weird. Its bandini as rb, mbaye lb - with ferrara as backup - donkor and pasa in the middle.

    http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?...stringa=donkor

    Inter (4-3-3): 1 Cincilla; 2 Donkor, 4 Zaro, 5 Pasa, 3 Bandini; 6 Olsen; 7 Belloni, 8 Del Piero (Benassi 66); 9 Forte, 10 Acampora (Tassi 87), 11 Garritano (Bangoura 80).

    I won.

The second goal wasnt his fault imo. guess it was offside, if not, the striker obviously pushed him away, if donkor felt down it`d have been easily a foul. lack of xp.

Third goal he lost his marker. his fault.

We cant possibly judge the kid right now though. it`s unfair.

    Shit doesnt happen

its important to remember this guy is only 17. He's a year ahead of himself in the Primavera - we lack some good CB prospects at youth level, but this guy pips in ahead of alot of the competition.

He's quite good at Primavera. I wouldn't say he's one of the better prospects, but he is quite a committed defender. Last night wasn't greate for him, admittedly, but he's clearly got a long long way to go still, but I don't think thats somehow news.

No No i don't blame the kid for anything.
The mistake was putting him to mark their best striker Rondon (or maybe Rondon himself went searching Donkor )

Anyway his performance was a clear demonstration how far primavera level is to competitive level. The 2nd squad is a MUST for italian football.

Isaac Donkor is a ghanese '95 player who already played for the first team in our 3-2 victory over Trapani played Dic. 4 2013. He only played for 9 minutes, but he already made his senior squad debut with us.

Considering what Samaden said (our Academy Director), he's going to feature the first team this season. It looks like if we don't get Rolando, we might give this kid a chance to develop with the seniors, being available for playing when needed.

He will probably never be used knowing Mazzarri, but at least he deserves his own thread. He will be part of the called team for the pre-season.

He will be our 5th defender most likely. Meant to mention that in the Rolando thread discussion. He is usually a CB at the primavera level, but I think he's a bit short as 5'9 to be a CB at this level. Maybe the RCB position, however I expect him to get more time as a RB if we play a back four. Mazzarri will give him all of 100 minutes next year most likely, and thats being generous. I'm sure they'll call come in the EL.

He is still 17, if he eats too much protein for the next two years (19),his height will increase and he will be ready to play at senior level.

He's playing primavera matches. However, yes he is technically part of the first team.
