    Moratti to quit Inter?

    Moratti To Quit?
    4/13/2005 4:11:00 PM
The Nerazzurri’s Patron had already stepped down as President of Inter during this season.
Massimo Moratti’s future with Inter seems to have come to a sudden and abrupt end. Following Tuesday night’s incidents which, according to the latest speculations, were contestations held by the fans towards the Patron, Moratti has apparently decided to sell the club and leave the football world altogether.

President Facchetti has refused to comment on these rumours but underlined the disgraceful events which the entire world witnessed.

“I’m disappointed for yesterday’s episodes which were serious and condemnable.”

Moratti refused to speak to the press today, thus fuelling the speculation he is set to quit Inter.
Not sure what to make of this. Not sure if it would be good or bad. If someone like Tronchetti were willing to buy Inter maybe it would be a good move.

I was going to post this too.

I'm not sure if this is good or bad either. With this guy, we have a lot of $$ to spend every season. He's also capable to develop good relationships with players (e.g. Ronaldo).

But he isn't a good club owner. Other owners (e.g. Chelsea's Abromvich) would realize that even if they know soccer, they are still probably inferior to the least-qualified coach. They will then be a quiet back-stage guy who gives the coach 100% control of the team and the players. Our dear Moratti, however, likes to participate in the team's decision. Coaches have to listen to his opinion.

But anyway, I think he is a nice guy and a big Inter patron. We should all thank him even though we didn't win anything with him.

Yeah he is a fan of Inter, but sometimes fans don't make good presidents.
FC Inter is the name, football is the game. Adriano is the man, winning is our aim. Juve and Milan are lame, Sheva is the gay.

Don't get excited, boys, such measures have almost come true in the past, but at the end of the day, it didn't occur and never had a chance of occuring.
Just because he stepped down for the Presidents role, doesn't mean sh1t, infact, I think he might even be president once more in the future, he's stood down before, come back up again and so forth. He won't quit for years, IMO, and there's no point in bring your hopes down.
We have to learn to win with him in charge.

Moratti very nice man. but bad president job for Inter.

Wasted money.... always stupid transfer market action.... too many changed coach.(of course even fault appoint coach. Hodson , Lippi , Tardelli , Zaccheroni etc....) and unlucky.

    Moratti plz!!!!!!!!!!
Next season Messi will be Inter player.

Please Massimo. :cry2: You're a great man who stepped down from being president and club has really gone forward. Please don't do this. You love the club and atleast I love you. IMO after not being president you have only been good for us.

Yeah, let Massimo go and then get some president that will give you honeymoon at the beginning and then bail out. Or get one like Tardini or Cragnotti that will end up in jail and then sell everything.

A good saying goes, a bird in the hand is better than ten on a tree.

If he goes, then it means greater freedom for the coach, and the possibility that we might do well without him poking our asses.

If he stays, then we'll still have loads of money.

I really don't know whether I want him to leave or stay. Maybe he should leave, but give all his money to us.

What? That thug, no thanx. I'd rather endure 10 more years of no trophy than get one with suspicious money.

In case you don't know, he is from the russian Oligarchs. It's a long story and you have to be into politics to know it. He basically used illegal means to build his fortune, he is detested by ordinary russians, him and his fellows robbed the country.

But it depends if you care about where your success comes from. If you are like me and care, then I won't like to have him as a president.
