My squad for the next season

GdS's assesment of who is leaving, who is staying and who are we looking to buy...

Certain to leave: Silvestre, Rocchi, Cassano, Mbaye, Benassi.
Who is almost certainly staying(unless if someone offers a ridiciulous amount of green) : Handanovic, Carrizo, Zanetti, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Jonathan, Nagatomo, Kovacic, Guarin, Mudingayi, Obi, Gargano, Palacio, Milito, Longo e Duncan.
Uncertain atm: Alvarez, Castellazzi, Samuel, Pereira, Stankovic, Schelotto, Kuzmanovic, Cambiasso e Chivu.
Already Inter players for next season: Andreolli, Botta, Campagnaro, Icardi, Laxalt.
Names that we are looking at : Gomez, Cerci, Pjanic, Basta, Montoya, Bonaventura, Fernando, Nainggolan, Capouè, Koné, Diamanti, Peruzzi, Sahin, Menez.

I have to say some names on certain lists are shocking!

Let's start with those who are certain to leave...
Why the fuck should Benassi and Mbaye leave?Maybe it is meant as loan or co-own?!
Did Cassano punch Strama or smth?!
Then we have the certainties like Jonathan and Mudi...
If Johny can stay why can't Alvarez and Pereira?!
Will Kuz and Lotto realy leave after half a season?

Moving on to the names who are we supposed to be linked to...
Pjanic and Sahin? Not even once!

And now I will reveal my list of departures, certain stays and...

    Must leave: Deki,Silvestre,Schelotto(won't happen),Castellazzi,Mudi(won't happen),Rocchi,Gargano(won't happen),Chivu

    Loan out:Mbaye,Olsen,Di Gennaro,Bardi(should stay out on loan in a Serie A team),Livaja(stay at Atalanta),Stevanovic(stay at Torino),Faraoni(Udinese)

    Not sure:Kuzmanovic,Cuchu,Cassano,Jonathan

    Must stay:Handa,JZ,Palacio,Kovacic,Alvarez,Guarin,Obi,M ilito,Ranocchia,Benassi,Juan,Nagatomo,Duncan,Longo ,
    Pasa,Carrizo,Pereira,Samuel,Belec

    New certain players:Andreolli,Campagnaro,Laxalt,Botta,Icardi

Who we should get if we intend to play 4-3-3 with Kova and Guarin on the sides:

    Fernando(DM)
I would like Nainggolan(CM) as well but not sure if we can have both!
Peruzzi (RB) ...JZ says he is good and I trust him
    Gomez(LF)
maybe even an star CF but that is unlikely because we don't have Euro competitions

    ----------Handanovic
    Peruzzi/Campagnaro-Frog-JJ-Nagatomo
    --Guarin----Fernando----Kova
    --Palacio----Icardi---Gomez

    II team

    ----------Carizzo/Belec
    JZ-Andreolli-Samuel/Pasa-Pereira
    --Benassi-Duncan-Obi/Laxalt
    --Alvarez-Milito/Longo-Botta

    The young attack:Icardi (19 .2. 1993) e Belfodil (12.1. 1992)
    Our current targets:Isla (12.6.1988), Nainggolan (4.5.1988), Dragovic (6.3.1991)

    possible formation:Handanovic (1984), Ranocchia (1988), Dragovic (1991), Juan (1991), Isla (1988), Guarin (1986), Nainggolan (1988), Kovacic (1994), Nagatomo (1986), Icardi (1993), Belfodil (1992)

and people said that the youth project is dead

But of course our coach is Mazzarri so..
    This is in today's GdS

In that case it will be Rano as RCB, with rago as CB and Juan as LCB.

No way Campa stays on the bench tho. I am all in for Campa - Rano - Drago with Juan being the first option for any 3 position. Samuel should be the last option.

agree. i dont see Campagnaro staying on the bench

I dont know how it reconciles, to be honest. Any new CB means we relegate someone worth quite a decent amount to the bench - whether it is Ranocchia or JJ. But we're hopefulyl not spending 10m on a backup CB, that'd be crazy.

Another young CB could also be beneficial for the future; I have the likes of Mangala or Papadopoulos in mind tbh, but we should also trigger Caldirola's supposed buy back clause for next season (if he does well with Werder Bremen in this season)

Other eventual acquisitions for our midfield could be Draxler of Schalke and Jorginho of Verona.

We would have a very strong team for the future if any of these moves came through. Tbh we'd save millions in transfer fees for the future

    Spoiler: Future potential squad

a little bump here...a new directon though
Since I can't make new threads I'm gonna do it here...

Players we could take a look at and are not worth +20m€ yet...

    1.on my list

    Robert Muric
    17 years old
    Dinamo Zagreb
Possesses great speed, dribbling and shot.. Soon expected to debut in the senior team.

2.Petar Mišić 19-year-old hot prospect from Dinamo Zagreb. Curently playing on loan at Lokomotiva. He spent his youth development in Cibalia. Possesses great speed and dribbling abilities, and in his first season has already shown some great stuff...

Some of our Indo friends here should forward this to Thohir tbh

anyway I'll try to find some more players that look promising

    1. Mitchy Batshuayi.

Young, Belgian/Congolian forward of Standard De Liège. Topscorer of Belgium's competition.

Total package of modern striker. Fast, skilled, powerhouse and killer instinct. Undoubtly the next Lukaku/Benteke, although those have more power. Whereas Lukaku uses mostly physical strenght, Batshuayi uses physical speed/skills. I'd see him as a mix between Torres (topform)/Lukaku.

    Worth value : 5-8 m

    2. Kurt Zouma

Young (17) powerhouse defender. Rough in duel, Aerial power, yet his positioning is something to work on. Already rumoured to Inter.

    Worth Value : 9 - 15 m

    3. Junior Malanda

Belgian/Congolese midfielder. Purely defensive minded. Wins nearly all duels in midfield. Passing is awfull though, also he just signed for Wolfsburg, who won't let him go that cheaply.

    Worth value : 7-9m

    4. Doria

Brasilian CB of Botafogo, captain of the U-20 National squad.

    Worth Value : 5 -10m

If we're going to talk about Croatian prospects, might as well bring up Mario Pasalic (18) of Hajduk Split. He's barely received any hype, but was the only croatian on the IBWM 100 list for 2014 aside from Kovacic.

He's got great vision and technique, as well as a strong shot. He was linked to Milan, Catania, and Juventus in the summer, but 3 million euros should trigger a transfer.

Halilovic's contract is also expiring in the summer, and he could be a massive bargain on a bosman transfer (considering he's extremely talented). I only question his ability to compete on a physical level, but the technique is all there.

    On the players you selected:

It should be noted that the quality of the Croatian league is not high. Udinese purchased Mlinar (21) and Bubnjic (21) from the Prva HNL; both players received a lot of hype, and it should be noted that Bubnjic even has senior caps to his name. However, they remain on the fringes of the starting lineup.

Vukusic (22) was captain of Hajduk Split and was regularly netting over 20 goals a season, with teams like Dortmund and Arsenal interested in a transfer, and yet he joined lowly Pescara who were eventually relegated to Serie B. He currently has 3 goals in Serie B so far, which is a massive disappointment.

You can't assume any other Croatian talent will have a similar impact as Kovacic, because they likely won't. If they're impressing in the Croatian league, it hardly means they will impress in Italy

Batshuayi's mentality is an issue. He's very talented, and I don't question his ability to become the next Lukaku/Benteke, but his temperament will be a problem. Ffs he was dismissed from Anderlecht's youth academy following a number of notable disciplinary problems. Moreover, he won't be leaving Standard for less than 7-8 million euros, so he wouldn't be cheap.

And I doubt we could compete against Arsenal for his signature, who've been heavily linked with a move for the Belgian youngster this year.

I've heard a lot about Maxime Lestienne of Brugge though; what do you think of him?

Malanda arrived at Wolfsburg last year on a free transfer, and other than the fact that it perfectly demonstrates a lack of foresight in management's strategy for building a team, I'd rather go for Obiang (for 7-9 million).

Rode's available on the bosman transfer list this summer, and if Bayern don't go for him, he would be an invaluable addition to the squad.

Doria has great anticipation and a magnificent ability to read the game, initiating comparisons to Aldair, Thiago Silva, and even Marquinhos. He's been lauded for possessing great technique, but I personally believe he needs improvement on his on-the-ball technical skills. However, it's undeniable he possesses a LOT of potential, and I could see some merit on a Doria-Juan partnership at the back.

But to say he would come for as low as 5 million euros is ludicrous. Botafogo will not let him go for under 10 million euros, especially when River are intent on selling Balanta for as high as 15 million (to Barcelona).

Tbh, Batshuayi's pretty ok nowadays. This mentality's issue was when he was a teenager. He has developed more mature though (still a boy though) It's rumoured Standard would sell him for 8m. BUT they insist he'd finish the season at Standard. (Which could be great for his development). And Castaignos was also heavily linked to Arsenal back in the day (just saying)

If you think Batshuayi has a mentality issue, then Lestienne is a Balotelli comparing to Batshuayi. He is an extremely skilled winger, but very inconsistent, he could own one match and then disappear the next 5. Also he's been banned from NT because on a training camp he invited his girlfriend to stay over. Nevertheless, I don't see Lestienne making it.

Malanda would have been a nice addition, bit like Duncan though, but more powered. It wouldn't been a shame to have signed him for free last year.

Rode has already signed for Bayern

And I said 5m as value. Of course Botafogo wouldn't sell him under 10m.
