If Tahiti scores a goal, they should be given the championship.

    Group A looks like fun.

You see people from Colombia, Oceania, Ireland(i think) pretending that at least ONCE in their life they saw a young wc talent arriving and becoming a world star.

Just a idea: if you want a serious debate about football, you should block everybody from countries that NEVER will win nothing and NEVER will have a balon d'or, for example.
Whats the point about those guys opinions??? Can i go to some New Zealand chat and start to teach them how to recognize the better wc prospects among young Rugby players?
Again, if you NEVER saw a young wc prospect struggling in his first years, like Kaka or Ronaldinho who were booed by they local supporters here, how could you judge????

Osvaldo out of the team for violating Prandelli's code of ethics, but Italy are covered with Balotelli in his amazing form and I think also Sau was called up.

One of the great mysteries of this world, how Giaccherini keeps getting into the national team.

    Gilardino, Giaccherini

Also amazing how Balzaretti and Criscito went from first choice LBs to not even on the squad.

Most coaches have their questionable "pet" players that they always seem to pick with less than good reasoning. Giaccherini is going to be a NT player until Prandelli is no longer around.

I'm more perplexed at Gilardino over Osvaldo and Astori over Ogbonna and to a lesser extend Rano.

Osvaldo violated team rules or something.

I know I'm living in the past, but I would prefer Di Natale or Cassano as a spark plug as substitutes over Gilardino's 30 year old corpse.

Osvaldo went on a bitch-fest after only getting 15min playing time in the Coppa final. Insulting Andreazzoli in person & on twitter + skipping the medal ceremony = violating Prandelli code of ethics. Roma will sell him too most likely.

I agree about Di Natale, he's older but way better than Gila. I don't think Astori is better than Rano either.

Wasn't Gila the starting forward for Prandelli at Viola? I have no idea why Giaccherini is called up...does he even start for Juve?

As for Spain, how does Michu not even get a chance?

There is a height restriction in the spanish NT. Only midgets unless you're a goalkeeper.
