I believe this is what Inter used to be called.
Can anyone confirm this and tell me exactly what happened?

Indeed. "Ambrosiana".

If I'm not wrong it was due to due Mussolini(Who I have heard was BBilan fan)'s facism ,he changed our name and colors because they represent the exact opposite.
Between 1928-1942 we weren't allowed to use the name "Internazionale", because it reminded Mussolini of communism. SO we were forced to change the name and we chose the name "Ambrosiana", because Ambrosiana is the saint of Milano. Actually we played the first ever Serie A season in 1929-30 with the name "Ambrosiana" and we won!

Matrix come El Chino: un gol da 50 metri contro Empoli!
Wow! I didn't know that. Cool name, although I still like Internazionale FC better.![]()
Ambrosiana kind of reminds me of Ambrosini, though.

Hopefully by "AMBROSIANA" fans.![]()
Oh was that on the History channel?Originally Posted by primo-inter

It was very informational, lol plus they showed highlights of an Inter victory over damn Merda!![]()

Ich bin muede.
Javier Zanetti:
Mussolini was a Lazio fan! Milan has always been the team of the workers, ergo somewhat left-winged, so it would be a suprise if he'd been a fan of them. I also reckon that due to Mussolini's sympaty with Lazio, AS Roma hardly even existed during his reign.
100% record when attending games, Moratti, please hire me!
It may have been the same one, but I saw this one on a payTV sports channel. It showed highlights of a match where we beat Milan 2-1 with Zamorano and Di Biagio scoring.Originally Posted by Facade19

It also showed this Nerazzurri legend by the name of SANDRO MAZZOLA! He once put a lemon skin or something beneath the ball before a Milan player was about to take a penalty, and the Milan player missed his penalty and Inter won 6-5.![]()

It also said that Franco Baresi was originally rejected by Inter.Another stupid move by the club.
That's quite a famous fact ,Baresi was an Interista too ,in fact he came to the tests with an Inter scarf ,but unforunately was rejected.Originally Posted by primo-inter
The biggest blunder in the club's history, indeed. But hey, I doubt that even Franco Baresi would succeed if he's wearing the Nerazzurra jersey.

Duce never cared about football much and he was seen both at Lazio and riommerda games. He authorized a merger between Virtus, Pro Roma and several other clubs into a team that was supposed to spread the glory of Rome, AS Roma(that sure turned out greatOriginally Posted by Zamat
). Lazio was originally supposed to be among the clubs to be included in this merger but we somehow swindled our way out of it, thank God.
Moggi, magari' mori' oggi!!!!!
Galliani magari' mori' domani!!!!
Lotito verme!!!!
Here's a joke told by Interisti about Baresi:
- from Baresi Milan fans remember trophies and victories
- from Baresi Inter fans remember raised hand(claiming offside) and murderous fouls
- from Baresi Rijkaard remebers the wife

From Ronaldo, Real Madrid fans remembers Big Macs.
From Ronaldo, Seedorf remembers the wife.

What? Are you kidding me? Did Rijkaard have an affair with Baresi's wife? What is it with Dutch-Surinamese guys? Are they in demand in Italy or what?
And they have similar hairstyles too.
Maybe it's their 'size'.

I think Suriname is one country in Africa. I'm not really sure of its location.A lot of blacks, no racism intended, from Europe, especially Holland, have ancestors' root from Suriname.
I just searched it on google and it's actually a country in the north of South America. It was founded by Dutch people but most of the population is black like you said. 1% is white.Originally Posted by Handoyo
So Rijkaard is from Suriname? I had no idea.
