Am I the only one who thinks a Dybala-Icardi swap is not a great deal for Inter?

Dybala has a lot of talent and can create well for us, but he is moody. Playing Dybala can work if we also have a proper CF who bangs in regular goals, but we don't play with 2 strikers. And we already have Martinez, who is a SS like Dybala (even though he is a few years behind in development).

Looking at the Serie A Stats:
    Dybala: 183 games, 72 goals, 33 assists
    Icardi: 210 games, 119 goals, 28 assists

I think even if we do asap Icardi for Dybala, Rube need to add some good cash in that deal to make it worthwhile for us. Personally, I would prefer Costa or Bernadeschi with a lot of cash... or just cash from outside Italy.

    Martinez+Dybala would be sick together
    They both technically amazing
The link up play would be great
Unlike Icardi who has technical abilities of a donkey outside the box.
I'm already testing it in FIFA hahahaha

Nah.. What good has ever come out of giving Ausilio cash?

Dybala is the best repalcement that Inter can get for that money. Costa and Bernadeschi are wingers, they're not going to be any different than Perisic because our midfield is so trash. Dybala is more central and will give us the creativity in the middle of the field that we've lacked. Money needs to be kept away from Ausilio.

You're not. I don't know if the issue is Allegri or his attitude but there are many incidents of Dybala throwing tantrums. And those incidents happened at team that has been extremely successful. The situation could be much worse at Inter. I don't think i want someone with his character at Inter. The last thing we need is another player wreaking havoc in the dressing room.

Anyway, i think the discussion about Dybala is a bit pointless. Even if we can afford his wages, which i doubt, i am afraid he'll consider a move to Inter as a step back. He will probably prioritize a move to EPL, La Liga or even Bayern and PSG over a move to Inter.

Costa is not in the same level and won't be. Bernardeschi is not on the same level, no way near, at least yet. Dybala is a star player. If Inter gets Dybala, we will play with two strikers pretty certainly. 2 striker system requires strong fullbacks usually (well almost any system requires strong fullbacks these days actually ). Lautaro is not an SS, he's a CF. Dybala plays a bit different role in the sense of goal scoring that we can't just lay the stats and state that Icardi is better because he scores more. That's almost the only thing he's been doing at Inter. Our whole system is based on that. Allegri on the other hand hasn't done much in recent years to accommodate Dybala to his lineup.

Season - games played - minutes played

    Mauro Icardi
    18/19 - 20 - 1.669
    17/18 - 34 - 2.970
    16/17 - 34 - 3.028
    15/16 - 33 - 2.593

    Paulo Dybala
    18/19 - 24 - 1.621
    17/18 - 33 - 2.356
    16/17 - 31 - 2.153
    15/16 - 36 - 2.899

So in latest seasons his minutes have gone down.

Icardi will announce he is fit, get into the starting XI and score a hat trick including a last minute winner in the derby. It will happen, just watch.

Juventus are reportedly keen to sign Inter striker Mauro Icardi, and are willing to include Paulo Dybala in a possible swap deal with their bitter rivals.

Icardi is expected to leave the San Siro this summer, as after being stripped of the Inter captaincy last month, he hasn’t featured in the last seven games across all competitions with a knee injury cited as the official reason.

Given the 26-year-old Argentine international has established himself as one of the most prolific forwards in Europe though, scoring 122 goals in 210 games since joining Inter in 2013, it would come as no surprise if there was plenty of interest in signing him this summer.

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus are being linked with a shock raid on Inter for their former captain, and it’s suggested that the reigning Serie A champions could be willing to offer Dybala in exchange coupled with €20m which would take the value of their offer up to €130m in total.

Whether or not that’s enough to convince Inter to sell Icardi remains to be seen, but the idea of allowing him to move to a direct rival could also be an issue.

Nevertheless, getting Dybala in return would be huge for them, and so time will tell if a deal is negotiated this summer to see the two Argentines swap places.

That will arguably appeal less to Dybala though, as he’d essentially be going from the dominant side in Serie A who are looking for an eight consecutive Scudetto this season, and a genuine threat in the Champions League, to a club still struggling to cement themselves as a top-four side in Italy.

Whether or not that scuppers a deal remains to be seen, but Juventus appear set to try and sign Icardi this summer to bolster their attacking options further.
    Take it and run!

Yeah no, even if he wants to play, he hasn't played in a while and obviously is not fit for 90 minutes. Not like he's gonna want to play anyway, he abandoned the club when they needed him the most. He can go fuck himself.
We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
