I'm speculating that everyone thought that Icardi was't captain material long time ago and felt that he should be disqualified as captain but nobody had the balls to do it.

That stupid bitch publicly insulted all Inter players. Now I do agree that most of these players need to be publicly insulted for the shite performances, but by the fans and not by the wife of the captain.
Yeah, his wife is really an unprofessional agent.

Icardi's sister:" Poor Brother is paying for the mistakes of his wife"

Wanda was the reason behind the fraction between Icardi and Perisic as well, I think she might have hinted that again in that last statement, but in process she insulted the whole team.

We all know she's right though, but one thing we insult each other on fif, and doing it on a jube forum.

It's a dumb thing to say in public, but what Wanda said is correct.
Which player out of Inter serves Icardi not 5 but 2 or 3 good passes a game?

Good move and also good timing. With the reports saying half team doesn't like icardi, and the other half are meh towards him, maybe this will unite our guys and fight more
If they didn't fire the coach(some of you saying its the players), well here you go now, clear message to everyone, "none of you lazy fuckers are above the club", so shut up and play. Good way to send a message in my opinion.

Also, NOW we gonna see how much Icardi "loves" inter, and how much leadership he has. It's easy to act like a leader when things go your way majority of time. In times like this, the true comes out. If he goes out and starts talking shit and throwing a fit like a spoiled brat, then i guess we know what we dealing with here in terms of character and we made the right decision.
If he comes out, lowers his head, starts working hard, and leads by example, then people gonna start to see that he's a good person and that will lead to getting more respect from his peers and fans alike.
At the end of the day, Icradi and only Icardi is to be blamed by this, he put himself in situation for the management to take this drastic measures. If he was a great and exemplary captain, no one would ever think of this. Simple.
Show your worth now, in rough times.

    FINALLY!

Watch after this drama Perisic will turn as he played in WC.
You are a fool for not noticing the parma game, obviously Perisic never wanted to cross the ball to this cunt.
Either he giving back to Brozo or cross the ball near the gk.
This cunt is not even called to world cup and act like he is greater than Perisic that is in the WC Final.

And one more thing for you icardick lovers, if he really worth 110M, why the hell is no club willing to pay for his release clause?
Do you think a top club willing to get some insult from commentator just because the only gameplan is cross to icardick?
Lol you re setting your self up for a huge disappointment. Also if perisic did not pass to icardi out of spite then perisic is the fucken dick!

Oh sorry, misunderstood. I don't think he should be blamed for that, he took this action because he had to as a CEO. Actually we should blame management for letting a player to act like he wants, so he did the right thing. If it backfires, then all the players turn out to be unprofessionals
Bro no need to apologise for chiming in it s a forum so comments are always welcome!

Well your kind of right that the ones who chose icardi at the time are most responsible then again the only realistic options at that time we re icardi and handa now while i always said it should have been handa i think hand would have been shat on a lot for not being vocal enough to be a captain.

Anyways my point was more that marotta chose the timing i think we could have easily waited till summer thus not taking the risk of massively reducing Icardis price if we plan to sell him and not taking the risk of having to rely on keita/martinez to carry us to CL if Icardi takes this the wrong way.
Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?
"With Milan, without doubt. And I don't like the Rossoneri fans either because they have a way of behaving, particularly when they win, that I don't appreciate."

Who said something about perisic is an example?
What i said only to his true form like in wc.

    "Wanda:
If we have to choose from renewal or an arrival of someone who can serve him 5 good passes, we choose the second"

Wouldn't you do the same if those words coming from the partner's wife you always served with crosses said something like that?

Tell me, how many chances again did your ex captain misses from all those crosses lately?

At least your ex captain should be ashame to Ranocchia, he did his best although he wasn't called 38/90 like icardick.

Wanda is low-tier trash. The kind of trash you see getting into fistfights at McDonald's. She made the decision to invest in her 'looks' and hooked up with some sorry excuse of a footballer in Maxi. Then she had some immature teenager (mental age, not physical) somehow become completely, irrationally infatuated with her to the point he'd get her and her amateur porn tape-filming ex-husband's kids tattooed on his body.

I'm the furthest thing from a blockheaded college jock who walks around grunting "bro's before hoe's!" and saying that it's against the "bro code" to date a friend's ex and other childish nonsense. But Icardi has been equally childish in all of this - just on the other end of the scale. His book where he basically said "I'll bash you up, bro" shows it. Voluntarily flaunting close-ups of his wife's cellulite-ridden ass on Instagram shows it. As does Wanda posting nude photos of Icardi with an emoji covering his certainly-tiny dick. Furthermore, 'his' decision to appoint his wife as his agent (somehow, I suspect at her insistence), and then let her continually talk the trash she's been flapping from that gigantic cock-hole of a mouth. These are not the actions of someone with very much common sense.

You can talk about he might realise this and realise that but when has he given any reason to expect any humility or maturity on his part? Icardi and humility? lol. For better or worse he's always given the impression through his public persona of being a headstrong and stubborn person. His entire relationship with Wanda shows that he doesn't care what others think - and I can respect that, to a degree. But it's up to him to prove he can truly be humble, empathetic and sensible.

Sadly, right now I'd bet anything his thoughts are closer to "fuck Inter" than "what have I/we done" or "I fucked up". I'd welcome him back depending on how this situation plays out. But if he is to leave, then so be it.

I have been writing it here before, we played 4 matches without Icardi, won 4, socred 13 and conceded 0. Players were really playing good, remember how they trashed Genoa. This and also other factors make me think that players are rather happy with this measure and I think it's going to reflect on their performance positively. Those who are not happy, well they are at least familiar that there is a strict uncle in the house, no more nice daddies.
Regarding the price of Icardi, yes I am agree with you, this may affect his price tag badly. On the other hand Marotta proved to be a solid negotiator, he didn't sell Perisic to hucksters despite Ivan's strong desire to leave Inter. So, I want to believe he won't sell him cheap and hold his ground

I still hope he leaves next summer. Stripping him off the armband was simply long overdue.

Icardi hasn't evolved much as a striker and he's still as "streaky" as ever.

I would take a gamble on lautaro, while those 110 mil would help us fix a lot of problems: we could buy a great midfielder and (finally!) at least one proper fullback.

There would probably still be money for a winger.

No point of having good midfielders if your striker aint that good.

Well 8 off those 13 goals came in two matches geno and frosinone. I would also like to point out that imho our best game this season was away against lazio when we trashed a direct contender for that cl spot 3:0 on their turf and icardi was a starter in that game.
I m not saying will be fucked i m saying there s a good chance we ll be fucked if icardi does not perform for the rest of the season.

Also the sample size of 4 matches won is way to little.

Btw people need to stop worrying about his drop in form every striker in history goes through periods like this. Just look how many goals CR7 scored last season from september till the end of the year.

Not sure if this is the right or wrong move, or whether the delivery was proper

But yes, this shows that the club has balls

I hope that you guys do not vilify Icardi that much though. Despite all the drama that's happening, he has always given his best when wearing this shirt, and he's been loyal for years even without CL football. I like the quote "in a relationship, a person isn't who he is during the last conversation you had with him, he's who he's been throughout the whole relationship."

Also, these hoopla nonsense is not an uncommon contract negotiation tactic. Ronaldo & Messi have been pulling the same damn thing for years. I just think that the Icardis took it too long & too far this time though.

Also, I'm not sure how many of you guys are married. I don't think his attitude towards Wanda is right but I can understand his position tbh.

I'm really curious WHY Icardi was taken out of the match squad?

What's the argument for that? I mean of course it got to do with stripping captaincy. But I mean how are they gonna play this.

Since second question is immediately how are they going to introduce him back to the squad? Since surely they can't expect Icardi-less squad to get that CL spot.

Icardi out for his fault, not Wanda’s: Marotta did the same with Pogba

Inter have decided to remove Mauro Icardi as the team’s captain today and have also left him out from the squad that will face Rapid Wien tomorrow.

Wanda has nothing to do with it. Agents do their job, some of them do it well, some others don’t. Here, the problem is not Wanda but Icardi, a player who is hiding behind his manager and wife and a club. A club can’t be hostage of a player, not even if he is the best in the world. Maurito should prove his qualities on the pitch and not with words.
This is not a typical Inter decision. This is a typical decision of Marotta. A couple of years ago, he did the same at Juve when Pogba wasn’t training properly. The Frenchman remained out of the squad for a few games and the decision was backed by Max Allegri.
That’s what a football club does. It’s the club that decides the rules, not the other way around. This is a crucial turning point for Inter. From now, whoever will speak with them will know that they are a real club. Not like before.

    Club over hoe?
If only this kid has brain.
