mind you, Barcelona is the most popular team in the country and that has never changed. Emelec comes second, but not even close in terms of popularity. Then come the teams from the Sierra, which are barely supported outside of their city, mainly cause the first football league in Ecuador was born in Guayaquil.

If you laugh at Barcelona copying Barca then yeah, I agree, but that does't matter to the millions of fans the club has on country level.

Los de Boca siempre con sus ocurrencias.

River is forming a nice team with Carbonero, Fabbro and if they can add Teo Gutierrez won't have to rely on Funes Mori el pecho frio.

Torneo Clausura? Rosario Central in Primera Division? and I think I saw Martin Palermo () heading a ball? very old video then Rodrigo Palacio scoring the first goal That fat man of central became famous after this I think ^^ (Anda a la cancha bobo!! xD)

    Spoiler: asd

Talking about something very recent, Martino is the new coach of Barcelona!! I'm not from newell's but that news made me happy and proud of being argentinian.

Sebastian Ribas (former inter player ), Franzoia, Wilmer Medina and Fabian Vargas are the new signings for Barcelona. Heard Emelec have signed Dennis Stracqualursi.

Nice player Vargas, did not go to Racing Club because was threatened...

Seems like it's all settled so that Gago can come back home, to Boca

Santiago Silva and Carlos Luna, two players that were kicked out from Boca and River, scored two goals in their new clubs...

Junior was in talks with Roberto Nanni, Rafael Sobis, Santiago Salcedo, Santiago Silva and Dante López... None signed. We brought Michael Ortega from Bayern Leverkusen though, boss signing.

Man there is alot of talent in the south american leagues. I remember tracking gago and higuain from way back in the day and i had such high hopes for them. Even though gago has been inconsistent in europe, he is still one of my favorite players, if just for his potential.

I also love Internacional in Brazil. D'Allesandro is one of my all time favorite players. I wish europe scouted south america better, i was sad to see players like taison and giuliano head to random teams in eastern europe for money instead of a big league.

Well, I wish Europe did not scouted South America so much, it is sad to see players like Botta, Gaitán, Banega, Fariña that last so little in their clubs and emigrate so fast... players that played less than a year in their clubs, and big teams of Europe take them away from here...
Luckily, some of them remember to come back, like Gago, Maxi Rodriguez, Gaby Milito, Heinze, Riquelme... Tevez promised to come back to Boca when his contract with Juve ends... I hope so...

we just get the wrong players. for example, last year, if we were after Luciano Vietto and Funes Mori, we would have signed funes mori instead of vietto, who in my opinion has huuge potential. alvarez over lamela is a mistake we already did, for example.

I was banging the drums for Lamela here pretty hard but you know he played for a relegated club so he sucked.

They have played the final 2 times and lost them in PK. They just bought Martín Arzuaga, top scorer in the league overall (29 goals in 8 months) so, they might return this year.

Cirigliano, Funes Mori and Lanzini formed the trinity of hate for river fans.
