Apparently he's close to Benfica.....I mean I felt a little bad for them last year but they are kind of looking for it.

Forgot to mention Emelec won 2-0 against Barcelona in el clásico del astillero. Stracqualursi debuted in this game, and scored twice (shows hes got balls) Wilmer Medina, Vargas, Ribas () and Franzoia on the other hand, sucked ass for Barcelona. And of course el clásico couldnt end without a player being sent to the hospital(pedro quiñonez)

Boca just win 2-1 to Belgrano, but I must admit that Boca didn't deserve the victory... mostly because Belgrano made 2 goals when the match were 1-1 that the referee cancelled badly, and there was a penalty that was not given to them...

Whatever you do, dont bet on Barcelona winning or Ribas scoring a goal.

All Boys sounds even more like a gay bar than 'Man City' or 'Man United'

All argentinian clubs sing a particular song when they are playing against them, that says: "LA CONCHA DE TU MADRE ALL BOYS" it was a very good song

It was even a trending topic on Twitter xD https://twitter.com/search?q=%23LaCo...lBoys&src=hash

For the first time in the history of Argentinian football, the called five "biggest" teams (los cinco grandes, Boca Jrs, River Plate, Independiente, Racing Club and San Lorenzo) lost their matches in the same weekend.

    Estudiantes 2-0 Boca Juniors
    River 1-2 Colón (Santa Fé)
    Atlético Tucumán 2-1 Independiente
    Racing Club 0-2 Arsenal F.C.
    Quilmes A.C. 3-2 San Lorenzo

Also, both coaches of Independiente and Racing were fired on Sunday

Shame Zubeldia wasn't fired earlier. Would have liked him back coaching Barcelona but oh well.

Also, anyone know anything about vietto? last 2 mathes i saw, he wasn't playing. is he injured?

It would be completely worth it for Inter to purchase Centurion and Vietto, but it will not be happening anytime soon.

Botafogo also has a very interesting squad in the Brazilian league, with Jefferson, Doria, Lodeiro, Gabriel, Renato, and Seedorf just to name a few.

Will be interesting to see how far they go this year.
