If only we can copy club management and football culture from europe, not the galacticos wannabe while still leeching from your local government.
Imho J-League management and culture more suitable for Indonesia. The talent already there. We are top ten country from GDP perspective. There are enough sponsorship and fans enthusiasms for our development. If only there are good management in PSSI, slow but sure we will reach Asia in 5 to 10 years.

Sadly J-League actually learn from us (Galatama), sponsorship still our biggest problem.
I think that can be solve with government intervention. The government have the power to push big companies to become sponsorship. Just look the government work with Simpang semanggi or Persipura with Bank Papua and Freeport. There are at least one big enough company in every province. The other way is PSS Sleman way with their fans.

That's what I mean by leeching from your local government (APBD). Our economic situation actually not good either, so football thing actually not in our government priority. I'm pretty amazed that Gojek & Traveloka willing to invest so much money to funding our competition. Hope they won't go broke latter.
