There are many problems in football...but the biggest problem at the moment, for players, is the doping.
Anyone read/heard yet about the newest incident in Italia? I´m just watching Punto e a capo program from Rai Due. I just saw quite shocking video that was taken in a Parma locker room from the season 1998/1999 just before UEFA cup final against Marseille, where Fabio Cannavaro injects the substance called Neoton [now banned - at that time it wasn't] and several teammates talk about what substances they take too. Our own Sebastian Veron is/was one of the users as well and was shown on the video. Of course, it wasn´t illegal then, but man it looks ugly. Cannavaro also said in the video "Here is the evidence that we are disgusting."
We just talked about doping with Tim few days ago. We both think that almost everyone if not everyone uses some kind of doping/illegal pharmacies. We also talked that we´re not going to defend any users, but we kind of understand why they use. Sometimes they play three intense 90 minute matches in a week, add all the trainings etc and that´s what you get. You would be a true superman if you can handle that without anything illegal.
