    Dodô

Apparently we have a medical with José Rodolfo Pires Ribeiro (Dodo) soon.

He's a 22 year old Brazilian left back. Formerly of Corinthians, would be coming here from Roma with an option to buy.

I don't know much about him besides the few Roma games I've seen him play.

If anyone has insight, I would appreciate it

So Dodo coming here confirms that we will be sticking with the back 3, IMO. No reason to bring in another fullback who can't defend, especially a young one. Dude has potential to be VERY good going forward, but needs to sort out his end product and decision making. He will be frustrating at times I can guarantee that, but he will continuously get into good positions.

According to the news outlets he will be here on a 2 year loan with an option to buy of 6.5 mil. I say that's a pretty damn good deal for a 22 year old with good experience playing in the 2nd placed Serie A team.

Rumors that its a 2 years Loan deal with Option to buy
different Medias reporting different numbers to exercise the option though
Gazzetta dello Sport = 6.5 million
    Sky = 7 million
Corriere dello Sport = 8 million

Yeah, that is a fantastic deal economically. Don't know anything about Dodo himself, but at least there isn't much risk in this transfer. If he really makes it, 7m€ doesn't sound like a big fee as we have to pay that in 2016. Basically we get a free player with some Serie A experience for two years time.

I love this deal, and i love the mvila deal, i think now we will bid for a cerci or biabany with schelotto + 4-5 m cash, and we will get one of them, and a cheap semi young low cost backup cf with potential (pato)

Good signing. At most of his games at Roma, he was pretty good.

Defensively speaking, Dodô is pretty good at tackling and intercepting. I think his problem is positioning, but he is only 22, still have time grow on this aspect.

There is 0 risk. If he's good, pay that fucking 7 millions in 2016. If he isn't good, send his ass back to Rome.
    The same goes for MVila.

Good work. I hope we can save money for some really good players with this moves.

Dodo has huge potential like thatdude says. I'm shocked that Roma is letting him go tbh. Dude showed amazing progression just last season alone.

He's not my first choice but he'd be good as Naga's sub for the left side. All we need to do is get rid of Jonathan now.

Let naga, danilo and dodo duke it out since both naga and danilo can go both ways...no pun intended

good thing you are not in charge then...Jonathan was decent last season and helped us get quite a few points with his never give up attitude. But when FIF decidedes after one or two bad games that a player is shit they stick to that no matter what a player does after that.Sure he is a little clumsy but his work rate is enormous.D'Ambrosio was worst than Johnny in that position tbh.

so fu the Jonathan haters tbh...

Jonathan is too good for the bench, if he doesn't get injured he will start every game

Jonathan should get a 5-year extension. At any moment anything can happen, plus he'll lead Serie A in deflected goals.
