What (else) should I see in London?

Tomorrow I'll go to London with my dear (not Pimp) and I'll be there for almost a week. Also, the last day I'll also check Cambridge.

I'm definately going through most of the interesting shops on Oxford streets, going to see most of the centre core (London tower ), the japanese clothing shops, the K-pop shop, Emirates stadium (which is close to where I'll be at), Cutty Sark, the awesome comic shops, the British Museum, Sea Life Aquarium,...

Anything else that I should definately go see? I was thinking about going to a stand up bar, but I don't know if I'll have enough money.

I went there last year with my ex, it was awesome.

British Museum is a great place to visit and its free, the only downside is that it closes really early 5 or 5:30 I cant remember now.

Avoid Madame Tussauds, even though its kind of cool its way too expensive and the time you have to wait in order to enter is excessive, IIRC I spent there almost 2h just to enter and we arrived early.

When I visit a city I like to avoid transportation as much and I can, In London I really liked the atmosphere of the city when walking from one place to the other with occasional stops where we found the place was nice to have a snack or a drink. If youre into that do it.

I only spent 4 days there so it was a bit of a hurry, its definitely a place Ill visit in the future.

Yeah we are not going to use the transportation a lot, but we still sleep in place near Emirates Stadium, so I don't think we will walk 1 hour to the center everytime.

We also have 4 full days for London and 1 day for Cambridge, so I think we will hurry a bit with so many stuff to see...but who knows. =) We'll see.

That's pretty much all there is to do.. You could go on the London eye, see Buckingham palace and there is also the science and history museum as well if you're into that stuff.

Yeah 4 days isn't enough. I did a similar thing last year and didn't see half of what I wanted to see.

How about Abbey Road (and the studio)?

I'd personally recommend seeing the arse-end of a few ales, myself.

My friend recently moved there. I've only spoke to him on Skype once but there was a drunk hispanic 15-year-old kid falling over in the background.

    Enjoy.

Also, if you're stuck for time at least you won't have to hang around long in the Emirates trophy room.

What days are you going Wera?

London bridge is nice to see.

Camden market is really cool quirky place, variety of goods and plenty of street food.

If your there on Sunday, I highly recommend brick lane markets. They have the most awesome food market there. Cheap too.

Comedy club in central London is approx 9 midweek, bit more on the weekend.
    And it's pretty awesome.

If you have any particular questions, fire away.

It's called the comedy club. They sometimes have internationally renowned comedians there on occasion. Its quite popular. I saw Vincent Kompany there with his missus last time I was there. I'll probably be going again in two weeks.

Of note the brick lane markets are open all week but, the food market at brick lane is only on Sundays.

There's a place called edgeware road if your into your arabic good, shisha etc.

Tower Bridge for sure. Most beautiful bridge I've ever seen, this coming a lot from a guy who is super biased pro-SanFran.

Was there a few weeks ago, and I'm moving there permanently in a few weeks. It depends on what you're into, really. I've heard there's dog racing near Wimbledon for example. There's all kinds of museums, so a quick google search should do the trick.

Oh, and any Tube trip near central London will cost you an arm, a leg and a dick.

You see people from Colombia, Oceania, Ireland(i think) pretending that at least ONCE in their life they saw a young wc talent arriving and becoming a world star.

Just a idea: if you want a serious debate about football, you should block everybody from countries that NEVER will win nothing and NEVER will have a balon d'or, for example.
Whats the point about those guys opinions??? Can i go to some New Zealand chat and start to teach them how to recognize the better wc prospects among young Rugby players?
Again, if you NEVER saw a young wc prospect struggling in his first years, like Kaka or Ronaldinho who were booed by they local supporters here, how could you judge????

It was a nice trip. In the end we didn't saw everything we wanted, since you can only see so many things in 4 days. And also, Cambridge was beautiful.
