So Bolingbroke actually went all Inter da Scudetto.
We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Zhang Jindong will be in Italy soon, where he will start the talkings over Piero Ausilio and Giovanni Gardini’s renewal.

On the same occasion, the Chinese owner will have his say over CEO successor, since Michael Bolingbroke contract is set to expire and a new italian CEO will be chosen from the list that the Chinese embassy in Milan sent to the Suning Group President.

While a new CEO will be hired, the first son of the Jindong family, Steven, will be the family’s eyes in the club. The young manager will be living and working in Milan on a daily basis to better link the ownership and the management during business duties.

I'd like to keep him if possible. Whatever the management are doing seems to be working and we are improving. So why touch it if it's not broken. Keep Bolingbroke.

I was under the impression that Bolingbroke was doing a decent job with the brand, it's harder to build a brand though if you're stuck with mediocre results.

Sack this sorry fucker now. What is he smoking?!! To talk about the Scudetto in the situation we are in is so inappropriate. No wonder we are becoming the laughing stock in football.

    ‘Inter can still win Scudetto’
    By Football Italia staff

Inter CEO Michael Bolingbroke has insisted that the club “absolutely haven’t given up on the Scudetto” this season.

Inter ended a run of three straight Serie A defeats on Wednesday as they beat Torino 2-1, yet despite the side still some 10 points behind leaders Juventus and speculation over Frank de Boer’s position persisting, Bolingbroke made it clear the Nerazzurri were in the title mix.

“We haven’t given up the on title,” he said at a shareholders’ meeting on Friday.

“We’d still like to qualify for the Champions League, but we absolutely haven’t given up on the Scudetto.

“We still have the Scudetto on our agenda. We still have the objective of bringing home the title.

“It was a very difficult decision to change Coach, so I take this opportunity to thank Roberto Mancini. We’re really very happy with Frank de Boer. It’s never easy.”

The one thing I find amazing is how many different people within our club mentioned FDB. Fair enough they all gave their support. But I think there's a hidden message of start getting fucking results behind it all.

Also, I actually kind of like Bolingbroke for one reason. He was walking into the stadium when they were in Ireland and I shouted his name, and he turned, laughed and came over and took a picture with us. He then pretended to only speak Italian when I asked him if we could meet the team, when I then reminded him his names Michael and he worked in England. He swiftly walked away

    You got your wish granted.

    Bolingbroke resigns at Inter
    By Football Italia staff

Inter have officially announced that CEO Michael Bolingbroke has resigned, with Jun Liu replacing him.

The Englishman has been linked with an exit in recent days, in part because of his firm support for sacked Coach Frank de Boer.

Bolingbroke was appointed under Erick Thohir, and while the Indonesian remains President, Suning Group is now the majority shareholder.

“F.C. Internazionale Milano confirm that the Board of Directors met this morning and accepted the resignation of Michael Bolingbroke as CEO with immediate effect,” a statement reads.

“We wish him the best of luck for the future.

“Mr Jun Liu, vice-President of Suning Sports Group, is appointed Inter CEO ad interim. Mr Liu takes over the day-to-day running of the Club from today and will be based at Inter’s head office in Milan. Mr Liu already sits on the Board of Directors of Inter.

The Club believes that the arrival of Mr Liu during this period will allow for a clearer and quicker decision-making process by establishing a direct link to the Club’s majority shareholder Suning.

“A key part of Mr Liu’s role will be to act as a bridge between Suning and Inter, thus providing direct access to Suning’s vast corporate support network.

“After an initial phase of observation and understanding, the appointment of Mr Liu demonstrates a more direct involvement by Suning in Inter’s management.

“Jun Liu was born in China in 1976. He obtained a masters degree at the University of Nanjing. He is vice-President of Suning Sports Group, and has a wealth of experience in the sports management area.”
