I'm starting to worry about him, something isn't right. Did ok today, but is attitude and body language...strange.... maybe it was the pitch creeping him out.

He's been pretty bad. If his name was Vecino, Gagliardini, or Candreva, he would be getting a lot more heat on this forum. Don't get me wrong, he's done better for us than those players, but he's had some really poor games this season.

He's bad because Conte moved him out of his comfort zone. He is no longer the anchor a front of defense with the task only to move the ball around and to help to defenders. Now he should participate in both phases of game and his weaknesses are exposed. If we remove Eriksen and switch to 3-5-2 with two b2b mids and Brozo as registra, he'll be good again. Otherwise, no chance.

Whatever happened to Gary Cooper? You know the strong silent type.

    He can do this

    -------- Modic ------ Rakitic ----
    ------------ Brozovic ------------

    Or this

    -------- Sensi ------ Barella ----
    ------------ Brozovic ------------

    But this is exposing him

    ------------- Eriksen -------------
    ---- Brozovic ------ --------------
    ---------------- Gagliardini ------

He dosent have dynamism to be really effective in this position.

I disagree I think Brozovic can be really good in that position but he need a more defensive player next to him. Let him focus on passing from deep and supporting the attack. Then his natural combativeness becomes a bonus and not so much a necessity. I would look for a more defensive player and then player either Brozovic or Barella next to that player.

Almost cost us a goal at the end. He really tends to fall apart at the end of matches.

Anyway play him further back for now and start Eriksen.

Brozo is a problem waiting to happen. I don't want to be mean or ungrateful but we definitely need a better player.

I think Brozo is a great player for us, maybe even our best player this season. But he needs to play deep, and ideally alongside a quality defensive midfielder. Brozo is very mediocre as AM.

Ideally we get a DM (preferably 6’0 although I would certainly take Kante) and pair that player with Barella. Brozo first back up for either player.

Conte learned tonight what we all knew from three years ago. Brozovic is not creative enough to play behind strikers in an attack. There's a reason he was on the verge of being sold before a position switch.

He's lucky that his teammates are too nice. In some other team someone would slap him for that waving with his skinny hands all the time.

I can see that he will soon be the Gagliardini of the team. He is just not strong enough.

This. I have said it before. Brozovic can only play the regista role. Coaches were trying him in an advanced role for years. They tried him as box to box. They tried him as an AM. Mancini even tried him as an RM. He was wildly inconsistent and it wasn't working at such an extent he was on verge of getting sold. He became important for the club only when Spalletti changed his position. Whether he's good enough to be the starting regista for an Inter side that challenges for the Scudetto is an entirely different matter.

    Where do I sign up?

Brozovic becoming the Gagliardini of this team (i.e. 5th or 6th choice midfielder) would mean we've made a massive leap in quality in our midfield.

I like Barella a lot but I don't think he's shown that he's a "better" player than Brozovic by any measure except getting stupid yellow cards. In the amazing event that we signed Kante, I wouldn't agree that it's Barella to start alongside him with Brozovic as backup. If anything, based on their characteristics, I'd say it's better to have Brozovic partner Kante, or Sensi if the cunt can stay fit for 20 minutes.

I personally like Barella more although I can see why some might prefer Brozovic. He has certainly done a lot more in our shirt. However for me Barella is the better player, the only thing Brozo has over him is experience and a little physicality. I wouldn’t play Sensi anywhere except the attacking mid spot if we’re playing a 2-1 midfield.

There is a huge difference between Barella and Brozo. From the first second of the match till the kast one and Barella wants Inter to win, Brozo will only show you he works hard throughout the match, doing only the bare mininum but he would never hurt himself to recover a ball or dispossess someone. When was the last time Brozo was injured on the pitch? If I were the coach he would never touch the ball even if the alternative is agoume or Ranouchia.
