I don't really believe this figures. I've seen so many of them and most of the times, the figures are different.

If this is true then there is one word for JZ in respect to the rest and that is Value...He plays every game and is always there for the team when other players getting more are always injured or seated on the bench

A very sad sad week of Serie A.

    1) Roma drew against Reggina. D@mn them to hell!!! After I gave them my support and 'allow' them to thrash us 4-1, this is how they repay me!!!

    2) 29 November 2003 repeated, but it's the evil half of Milan who triumped at Delle Alpi. Lead extended to 7 with 10 matches left to be played. All is not lost but the Devils have one hand on the Scudetto already.

    3) Il Divin Codino notched numero 200. A sad sad thing. This will only encourage one of Italy's best ever player to retire in the summer. :cry2: What a goal it was. Reminds me of Zidane's goal against Reggina a few seasons ago. Baggio.

    The Best and the Rest

    The Best:

    Christian Vieri (Inter)
Despite the 0-0 draw with Chievo, Vieri demonstrated that he is a great. He seemed to be the only real leader on the pitch yesterday even if he was continually frustrated by Luca Marchegiani’s saves. He doesn’t want to play UEFA Cup football next season and you can see it.

    Giorgios Karagounis (Inter)
The fact that Karagounis was Inter’s most in form player yesterday speaks
volumes about the club’s problems. He was a figure of fun for most fans this
term but he did well against Chievo alongside more illustrious names. He
deserves to keep his place in the side.

    Marcos Cafu (Milan)
Roma were convinced that Marcos Cafu’s career was coming to an end but
that was a massive mistake. The Brazilian is playing some superb football right
now and impressed against Juve on the right flank. A superb summer buy –
when you consider he cost nothing.

    The rest…
    Alessio Tacchinardi (Juventus)
We didn’t like his personal battle with Kaka and the numerous silly fouls that
he committed against Milan. He looked like a frustrated player at the Delle Alpi
last night, one who realised their own Scudetto hopes had ended.

    Adriano (Inter)
The Inter virus has spread to Adriano. It’s incredible that a player who was
unstoppable for Parma earlier this term has turned into the striker witnessed
yesterday. He looked lost on the pitch, desperate for an assist. Don’t worry
Adri, Coach Roberto Mancini is on his way.

    Gianluca Comotto (Reggina)
It took Comotto less than a minute to make our list after his foul on Francesco
Totti. We understand that intimidation is a part of defending but kicking the
Roma captain in the air just seconds after the kick-off is ridiculous. He may
have been fortunate to just get booked.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

So Adriano has been infected by Inter disease.

I hate it when anyone says that about Inter...I guess we just have to put everyone in their position instead of playing them out of place when we got sufficient players...I would rather not use Adriano out of place if that will affect his performance and maybe little by little his mentality.

    FIGC fears financial collapse
    Wednesday 17 March, 2004
Today’s Federation meeting raised fears that 60 per cent of Serie A and B sides won’t be able to register for next season’s Championship.

“If the deadline for presenting the paperwork was today,” warned FIGC President Franco Carraro, “then with the new rules 60 per cent of Serie A and B clubs would be thrown out.”

Following the bankruptcy of AC Fiorentina and crisis situations at Parma, Lazio and Roma, new rules are being introduced in order to spread tax payments over a period of several months.

“The situation at Roma and Lazio is disastrous,” added League Vice-President Antonio Matarrese.

“With their current balance sheets both these clubs cannot qualify for European competition and that is a very sad state of affairs.”

UEFA have also introduced new checks on all sides that can enter the Champions’ League or UEFA Cup next season.

However, AS Roma hit back with director Franco Baldini’s claims that there were “no problems” sticking to the European guidelines.

“We are moving towards a time when the books will be kept much more balanced than in previous years,” insisted League President Adriano Galliani.

“I am very worried for Roma and Lazio, but we will do everything in our power to ensure they stay in the top flight. I cannot imagine the Capital without any big teams to represent it, but they’ll need massive injections of fresh cash to survive.”

well thats not good! The serieA would lose heaps of apeal if some the Rome clubs were relagated!

I really hope that they stay..It would be a disaster if they dont..The govt has to do something if it reaches that point(too bad its Berluscini's govt.)

From now on their has to be an independent council to check on the financial affairs of the clubs and whip them into shape..I dont know if such a council already exists but if it does it isnt doing a good job

    Best 11
03/23/2004. Francesco Antonioli (Sampdoria)-Unfortunately for the Blucerchiati his great saves stopped at minute 93.

Giuseppe Pancaro (AC Milan)-Portugal 2004 isn't a dream anymore for the former Lazio idol.

Daniele Adani (Inter)-One of the few positive notes of Inter's nightmare season.

Marco Di Loreto (Perugia)-The defender's 4th goal of the season has made him Perugia's top scorer.

Ivan Franceschini (Reggina)-On-form Vignaroli faded out of the match pretty quickly.

Pasquale Foggia (Empoli)-The Tuscan minnows transformed themselves once he entered the pitch in the second half.

Enzo Maresca (Juventus)-Confirmed once again he's destined to be the leader of this team.

Kakà (AC Milan)-It's amazing how the 23 year old Brazilian has become one of the best five players of the world's most difficult league in just seven months.

Alvaro Recoba (Inter)-When the Uruguayan is on-form, something that doesn't happen very often, he's one of the best players in the world.

Franco Brienza (Perugia)-It isn't a coincidence the Grifoni have started winning matches since the former Palermo man got Cosmi's nod. On Sunday he also scored his first Serie A goal.

Jon Dahl Tomasson (AC Milan)-His brace against Parma confirms he is one of the best strikers in Italy, surely the best one without a sure starting role.

Probably thanks to us buying Adriano...

Which sucks since Adriano is also out of form...

Though IMO we we rotate Adriano and Vieri between the main striker roles then they both should do well... though other than that I can't see much improvement in playing them 2gether...
