Shit and they still have Lavezzi, Pastore, Lucas Moura, Marquinhos, Digne, van der Wiel, Rabiot, Stambouli and Sirigu.

The odds on them winning the CL this season is around 15/1-16/1 which I will try. I still don't think Zlatan will leave them for Milan as it doesn't make sense for him to leave a potential CL finalist for a shit team.

Luiz benched for Marquinhos or playing as a DM is better. And since Cavani only plays good as a CF at PSG, somebody playing instead of him is also better, most of the time. They have been assembling a good team for a while tho.

Isn't motta done with them? Either way, i think if they can avoid barca in 2nd rd or quarters, they'll be very dangerous.

Lavezzi, Pastore and Moura are options instead of Cavani...

If Ibra and Motta leave I think PSG should play

    Trapp
    VDW - Silva - Marquinhos - Maxwell
    Veratti - Luiz - Matuidi
Di Maria - Cavani - Pastore

If Ibra doesn't leave things get more difficult. I could even see Di Maria dropped back into the midfield 3, which is actually where I prefer him. One things for sure of Pastore/Matuidi/Marquinhos would have to be benched.

i think a lineup of this would get the most out of their team (keeping luiz in because theres no way he'll be benched):

    cavani
    pastore . ibra . dimaria
    matuidi . verratti
    maxwell . silva . luiz . marquinhos
    trapp

then again it would be too lightweight at the back and blanc would never do anything like this.

also, one of these days ill give a ligue 1 preview.

Just for shits and giggles if they decided to play 4-3-1-2.

    Cavani - Ibra
    Pastore
    Di Maria - Matuidi
    Veratti
    Maxwell - Luiz - Silva - VDW

clear as day bielsa's resignation had nothing to do with the caen loss. rumour has it that he had come to an agreement in the summer to stay at marseille, which is why he rejected many lucrative offers, but the clubs lawyer rubbished the deal. its a big shame because he brought in a lot of players for his system and was the reason players like thauvin stayed on.. who knows who theyll sign now.

on another note, the talk is that he will be signing for the mexico national team..
