So Italy and France are in pot 2. Whichever group they go into is going to be tough

    The tough groups are probably:

Group A, Netherlands, France, Sweden & Bulgaria

    Group B, Portugal, Switzerland, Hungary

    Group G, Italy, Spain

Group I with Croatia is going to be tough, a lot of teams are around the same level there

    England got it quite easy

    - - - Updated - - -

Actually group D is a tough one too, with Serbia, Ireland, Wales and Austria

This was actually a good draw

So, just the group winners go through?

Yeah I read winners go straight through and then 8 runners up have to play for their spot over two legs

    Ranking of second-placed teams[edit]
Because two groups has one team fewer than the other groups, matches against the last-placed team in each of the six-team groups are not included in this ranking. As a result, eight matches played by each team will be counted for the purposes of the second-placed table.

The eight best runners-ups determined by the following parameters in this order:

    Highest number of points
    Goal difference
    Highest number of goals scored
    .

another hideously boring group for England, as if watching them play wasn't dull enough.

Only Group A is tough.... well has 3 good teams haha all the other groups are jokes. Europe should do what Concacaf does. Top teams don't have to play until like 1 year before the WC. Let all the shit teams that have no shot eliminate themselves

Groups D,E,F haha no good team haha

Well Poland has good players they just are shit as a group

That's even more of a case for Serbia out of those 3 groups that you named. Very good players, playing shit as a team.

Get the feeling this is a hell of a lot more important to the Scotland fans than the English
