    Inter Forever

So I'm browsing the internet and I visit our youtube page, then I realize Inter Forever has played Barcelona legends today in China. Game finished 5-3 on PKs after 1-1 FT. I figured we needed a thread for Inter Forever games.

Toldo, Colonnese, Chivu, Cesar Aparecido, Dino Baggio, Ze Maria, Karagounis, Zanetti, Figo, Djorkaeff, Benny Carbone playing for Inter. I have no idea why a few of those players are representing us.

Stadium is empty and the only people in the stadium are a a few very vocal Inter fans Figo still showed so much class.

Weird mix of players. Figo, Chivu, Toldo and JZ along with some stellar names such as Cesar Aparecido and Ze Maria. Nice to see Karaguonis though. Always liked him

Karagounis actually scored the goal to equalize Barcelona's lead (scored by Mendieta ) through a nice long range free kick.

Mendietta's free kick was amazing though.

It was an amazing goal and he was an amazing player with Valencia back in the day, but I'll always remember him as the dude who was sold to Lazio for 48 million euros in 2001 and played like total shit, I mean 2 years later he transferred to a midtable English club on a free transfer.

Maybe da real MVP of last night's win? Perhaps VP Zanetti enlisted the help of his former comrades to bitch slap the whole team before the game, finally waking their balls up.

I honestly can't wait for the next legends match now that our treble heros are starting to retire and come play. I hope Maicon and Cambiasso join soon.

    INTER FOREVER CELEBRATE IN CRETE
The Nerazzurri legends emerged victorious on penalties over Greece’s Euro 2004 heroes

HERAKLION – After 80 minutes of ‘normal time’ and a penalty shoot-out, it was Inter Forever who came out on top in Crete.

Mohamed Kallon gave Inter the lead in the first half, with Kostas Katsouranis drawing Greece level after the break. While the game ended with warm embraces between the players, we needed a winner and so it went to penalties.

Sebastien Frey made the decisive save in the shoot-out, giving Inter the trophy, but everyone was there to celebrate.

Around 20,000 fans turned out at the Pankritio Stadium to watch the game, which raised money for ELPIDA, the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer.

It was a well-organized event. Karagounis played for both teams.
