10 - Will be one of the absolutely best players in the history of the game (think Meazza, Matheus)
9 - Will be one of the club legends, and become one of the best players in the world of their era
8 - A player of very good quality, who will add much to the team, one of the best nationalwise
7 - Good player, a valuble asset of a team, one of the 10-15 best on his position in the country
6 - Above average player, who will be usefull, but will never be a key player for a team
5 - Completely average player
4 - Below average, not a disaster, but would be better if we didn't sign him in the first place
3 - Anonymous player who will never be remembered through the fact nobody expected anything from him
2 - Close to a useless player, who will add nothing to the team besides filling the CL quota
1 - Crap, shit, useless player, worst buisness ever, Mancini, Quaresma and Gresko combined
In case he bombs, I'm patenting the nickname "Darth Éder".
It will be called Internazionale, because we are brothers of the world.
I wish him to be like Palacio when he signed with us several years ago. Underrated at the beginning but he proved his worth.
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
Welcome and good luck for this difficult task. Bring us that 3rd spot!!
Welcome to Inter.
He's a good player but this isn't a good signing. Not worth it for us right now. Too old and it's not necessary at all. Isn't very cheap either. If we plan to replace someone with flair like Jovetic with someone with no flair like Eder, I don't know what to say. It seems like a desperate attempt to make 3rd place. Well, what if it doesn't happen? We aren't prepared for that.
19 matches - 12 goals - 3 assists
make it 24 goals and beat Gonzalo Higuaín

Loan with an obligation to buy. I like him so I can't wait to see what he can do here.
I agree with bandiera.
I predict this signing is going to be pretty much like Palacio's. I was against signing Palacio and for the same reason I am against signing Eder too.
Palacio was a good player but not what we needed. Palacio seemed like a signing to try and make CL. Since we didn't make CL, I count Palacio's signing as a failure. What did we gain from signing him? making 8th place? If we had signed a promising youngster, we might've done the same but at least now after few years he would've had a resale value or he could've helped us now make CL and we didn't need to sign another Palacio-like.
These types of players are signed as part of a short term project and if your project fails, means your signing failed. Eder would only be a success if he manages to give us what we signed him for, CL.
I was torn between 5 and 6 but then decided not to be too harsh on the guy and give him a 6.
EDER TO BE UNVEILED AT APPIANO TODAY
The new Inter signing will take questions from the assembled press at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti at 17:30 CET
APPIANO GENTILE – New Inter striker Eder will be officially unveiled as a Nerazzurri player at a press conference at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti on Friday 29 January at 17:30 CET (media personnel can enter from 17:15 CET).
Follow the event live on Inter Channel, inter.it or @Inter_en.
What number will he rock?
I was like you, disappointed when we got Palacio, but mainly because it felt like we were moving even further away from top signings and going back to the ridiculous logic of getting any Serie A player of the moment. But, I was wrong and if Eder proves to be as good as Palacio I think this would be a good deal. But it's a tall order. After Handa, Palacio was one of the few solid post-Treble signings.
Eder is bad because we need something else more, because it means giving up on players we already have on account of Macnini being clueless to get them to work together productively.
