Goal.com Presents: Inters top 20 players of all time

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/7180/gal...ry-cover#photo

Wondering what my fellow interesti think of the list compiled in Goal.com's new feature which ranks the top 20 of most of the biggest clubs of all time. Fair list in my opinion but i definitely would have had Cambiasso in mine and possibly Walter Sammuel. Was anyone left out that would make your cut?

Lists like this are always going to be controversial, but there is no doubt about the first place. There should have been a spot for Cambiasso imo He loved, he fought, he contributed immensely, he won, he was loyal, he was world class. Also one of the best transfers ever. And Ronaldo should have been higher up imo. I don't know much about older guys.

    'No doubt about first place'?
As much as i love Pupi, Facchetti IS Inter, revolutionized the sport and is probably the best in his position of all time.

Okay list, but I'm especially missing Picchi and Cuchu. No Vieri or Samuel?
Sneijder's inclusion is laughable. Matrix is my favorite player of all time, but he is in no way the 14'th best player to have played for this club.
Suarez should be higher. Djourkaeff shouldn't be there. I also have a hard time figuring out, how Beccalossi is thre, and ahead of the likes Altobelli and Boninsegna.

But again, it's almost virtually impossible to make a comprehensive list.

Ibra with 3x Scudetti won pretty much with his class alone?!

No Cambiasso or Maicon? If Sneidjer is on the list (deservingly), then Cambi should be too.

    No Guarin!?

On a serious note: I think Facchetti should be ranked as number 1 just in front of Zanetti and Ronaldo should be lower ranked. Djorkaeff on the list is a joke.

One player and one career did not revolutionized anything. But, yeah, argument can be made that Zanetti is not as undisputed as I find him to be.

What? Facchetti is the father of the modern day fullback. That is revolutionary to the sport.

It's just a bombastic thing to say to reinforce an argument imo It's impossible one man to change the culture of the game. He can influence, contribute, be better than others, but he cannot change it. No one man has that kind of agency in anything.

All it takes is one man to push the wheel, the rolling happens on its own. Not just in football but everywhere in life.
We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

no benito lorenzi? no ferri? no oriali? no cambiasso? no picchi?

djorkaeff was only at inter for three years while picchi was there for 7 and won 2 european cups with lgi. if we're going way back, guarneri, aldo campatelli, atillio demaria, luigi allemandi, and ermanno aebi deserve a mention ahead of the likes of djorkaeff, materazzi, sneijder, serena, rummenigge, beccalossi, brehme, and even milito (at his place in the list). skoglund, baresi, and ibrahimovic can even be there ahead of djorkaeff, materazzi, and aldo serena.

ronaldo shouldnt be above suarez and altobelli should be much higher in the list.

the criteria is cloudy. ability, consistency, longevity, legacy at the club? are you judging the best players to have played for inter or the players with the biggest impact at inter? mixing the two makes for a useless list.

facchetti played a revolutionary role only at the hands of helenio herrera. zanetti played a bigger role in our history than giacinto but i think meazza deserves the top spot no matter what the criteria may be.

Dont know much but imo Cambiasso definitely deserves to be there more than Sneijder. Though the latter was an immense part of the 2010 treble season, he was only here for 3 years and a half (thanks to our genius management of course). Cambiasso served the club way longer and won everything with Inter and was also one of the best players in those days.

Could someone that's seen the list just post it here in order from 1 to 20 ?
