Yeah, they should totally put "Northern" before the name before we can proceed with that.
Inter is an artistic venture, almost poetic. It is capable of provoking immense, unreachable joy and bitter disappointment. It’s never done by half-measures.
For me, Inter is the opening to new worlds and courage. It’s a strong passion, a marvellous illness. You can put up with the weaknesses and admire the courage, the same way you would with a son.

Hate is a very strong word, it promotes violence and produces psychological pain.

We're making an average of 2 mil a match at home atm. If we can keep this up over the season we should clear 40 mil ticket revenue easy!

It's said we'll make 10m revenue from the derby and Barca games alone.

I just hope Steven appoints qualified personnel to positions and cleans up the filth from Moratti's era at the corporate office. They have been the reason why we have not been able to consistently perform at any front despite Moratti spending more than a billion dollars. The players and coaches always paid the price.

That already started with Thohir. I don't think there is anyone left in important positions other than Ausilio and Samaden from Moratti era. Thohir might not be someone who understands from football but he knew how to handle corporate delegation of duties.

Suning invest nearly €500m in Inter
    By Football Italia staff

Inter owners Suning Group have invested close to €500m in the club in the past two years, accounts reveal.

The Chinese conglomerate bought out majority shareholder Erick Thohir in 2016, with the Indonesian taking Massimo Moratti’s remaining 30 per cent.

Since then they’ve invested heavily, as Calcio e Finanza reveals in an analysis of the consolidated financial statements for 2017-18.

The accounts show that Suning have invested a total €474m between June 29 2016 and June 30 2018.

Immediately after taking over the club, the Chinese group put in a €142m capital increase, as well as a shareholder loan of €40m.

Another shareholder loan of €177m was injected in 2016-17, with a further €119m last season.

In total Suning have provided the club with €336m of loans, but €105m of that has been converted to equity and €4m has been paid back by the club.

Inter’s debt to the company which owns the club is therefore around €227m, with €11.2m paid in interest up to last April.
Luis Figo: "When I signed for Inter it was simply about looking for football happiness."

    Revenues increased: €63B for Suning (+ €15B), €300M for Inter (+ €26M)

“Here are some references in order to get to an idea: the revenues of Suning Holdings is €63B, more than the GDP (gross domestic product) of nations such as Uzbekistan, Oman and Kenya. This is Zhang Jindong who sold the very first air conditioners in Nanjing in 1990. Not even Zhang himself, a very ambitious person, could imagine such an endless climb: the €63B in 2018 is €15B more than revenues in 2016, the year that this Chinese company arrived at Inter.”

This is the Gazzetta dello Sport emphasizing the tremendous growth that Suning has seen over the years. And now, changes are about to be made when it comes to the presidency of Inter with Steven Zhang being the prime candidate to replace Erick Thohir.

This is a clear testimony to the fact that Suning wants to make Inter a true power in world football, an objective that will be less impossible after the exit from UEFA FFP constraints.

“Approximately €530M has been injected into Inter between increases in capital and various loans, losses are now reduced to just €17.8M. The overall value of the squad increases to €643.5M according to the estimates done by the Gazzetta. Of course, Ausilio had to dribble around the trap of June 30th by selling Primavera players to achieve desired capital gains. But as a whole, Inter are growing and improving. In 2016, when Thohir was still the majority owner, the club received €207M in revenues, €274M last year and by October 26th, at the shareholders’ meeting, that figure will be very close to €300M (excluding capital gains). The change of pace was mainly because of the Asian market where Inter have gained so much revenues from sponsors thanks to marketing agencies. Going forward, the idea of Zhang is to replicate what was done in Italy where it was decided to renounce the help of Infront to personally manage negotiations with his partners.”
