    Greetings from China

Hello all. I am an Inter fan from China. Yesterday was a special day for me as my favorite team had been acquired by a Chinese enterprise.

I remember the days I spent in this forum discussing FM2008 with some Inter fans several years ago. I hope everything went well with those guys during these years. I didn't remember my account and I registered a new one.

Should you'd like to know more about Suning, China or me, plz feel free to ask. I will be honest and neutral to anything I may answer.

Welcome back. Do you think Suning would be interested in building a stadium for Inter?

I think the answer is NO in the foreseeable future.

The decision-making on building a new stadium may be affected by various factors: the Financial Fair Play policy, the remained 30% share hold by Eric Thohir, the Comune di Milano's attitude, etc.

Sorry I didn't give a straight answer as you asked "if Suning is interested in building a stadium for Inter"

    In my opinion, yes.

Are you talking about Robert Mancini? Actually there are rumors that he'd been invited to be Suning's new coach to take over from outgoing Petrescu

I know most Inter fans want Simone but I think Mancio had done a fairly good job during the last season. Considering the current squad, Inter is hardly worth of a better coach.

    Hey there. Welcome (back).

Have there been any rumors over there regarding Alex Teixeira and his possible loan to Inter?
We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Yes. There are rumors that Alex Teixeira and Ramirez could be on loan to inter in exchange for Eder, Melo and Santon. This is fair - if you are not playing well at Inter, go to China and play for Suning. But we must wait to see the player's wishes.

If this is not gonna happen, Suning will still bring star players constantly to Meazza Stadium. I am very convinced about it.

Yes. That's my fault. I think the biggest obstacle is that Eric Thohir is not likely to give up the remained 30% shares. During his 2-year presidency at Inter, the total investment is almost 0.

I don't think Suning will consider building a new stadium until Inter became its wholly-owned entity.

I heard from Italian media that most Inter fans are pessimistic about the acquisition. Actually it's influenced by western world's traditional bias towards China. I am cautiously optimistic about Inter's future with the reason as follows:

Finance: Money is not a problem to Suning. The Chinese economy is still developing at high speed.

Investment willingness: Suning needs Inter as a name card for its globalization strategy, which was initiated early this year. They have to buy star players and bring titles, to build Inter's brand.

Management: Unlike Thohir, Suning will mainly let Italians to manage the club.

Welcome! And thanks for the above - I tried explaining pretty much the same thing on the other thread. Most Europeans have outdated ideas about China, and don't realise how much has changed, how quickly the Chinese are growing richer, etc... like I said before, I can see China as the biggest market for European football in the future - the Govts new focus on football will make the sport more popular in the country, the money is already there.

I am cautiously optimistic about Suning's investment. If Suning have global aspirations for their brands, they will make a great success of Inter, and that would be awesome.

  29. Thanks (1): MVD
