i wasn't specifically talking about San Siro. it was more of a consideration on the situation as a whole in italy, based on my and my friends' experience in several stadiums.
My username has nothing to do with the player of loserpool fc, it is just a reference to an Italian novel.

What De Laurentiis was referring to was really more of a concept, which is actually kind of interesting if you think about it. He was saying that a 20,000 seater stadium that's more like a theatre of football where there are nothing but luxury seats could be a good idea. I think you still have to find a way to get the diehards in for atmosphere but sitting close to the pitch would be pretty cool.

So de Laurentiis' idea is somewhat close to NBA

IN other news Zeman is back at Pescara. Probably never should have left there to be honest. Perfect club for him and their ambitions.

I totally forgot that he was one to launch the careers of Immobile, Insigne and Verratti in Serie B.

    Roma - Fiorentina 4-0
    Crotone - Roma 0-2
    Villarreal - Roma (EL) 0-4
    Roma - Torino
    Roma - Villarreal (EL)
    Inter - Roma
    Roma - Lazio (coppa)
    Roma - Napoli

So Roma yesterday eliminated Villarreal already in the 1st leg in Europa League, away, that means they can rest most of their best players before our match. I actually like it, there wont be any excuses for either side when we go h2h with them. Almost level playing field for both sides(they still have to play that match while we rest so we are slighty in better situation). We do need this very difficult test to see where we are. As you can see from the top above, they have done exceptionally well already, those matches are all in less than 30 days and the start has been strong for them. Dzeko is in the form of his life, also Salah is back in the team and looking sharp as ever. Lets be honest, Torino dont stand a chance atm, so we need to take the points on sunday and prepare for the best way to take them on 26 February. If we can manage to win it, then the next match after this will be Roma-Napoli, where we have a chance to climb up even more as any result there is favorable.

I question how hard must it be to win with Rube a Scudo, plural in fact...with so many stars in the team...taking over a very very successful ship from Cunte.Against a Roma and Napoli who never rly won a lot in the past and not rly having a winning DNA throught history(occasional Scudo and Coppa here and there)and a complete Milanese depression tbh.Ok he got them to a CL final which was very admirable achievement non the less(with many questionable decisions going their way and easier opponents) and he won a Scudo with Bbilan which isn't an easy task but T.Silva and Ibra helped vs a Inter in a downfall and a still a bit lost Rube...the dude is a pretty lucky fellow...still I prefer him over Cunte, his football philosophy I mean

Certainly a better choice for Arsenal now than old man Wenger who is losing his plot for a few years now...that is crystal fucking clear

Allegri is a great tactician but if Arsenal are willing to change their style drastically I feel like they could go for someone better. Perhaps Simoene? It feels so wrong though. I think they should go for someone like Ancelotti, if possible, because he seems to be able to work with what he's got rather than impose his own style, perfect option for such times. And he might actually get them through the Last 16 after 7 long years.

I wonder when WE will finally have a player who can score from a set piece.

Poor Florenzi. He'll probably struggle to come back from two consecutive ACL injuries. Bad news for Italy too
