Apparently I'm the only person here who finds Lyran's midfield underwhelming.

What he lacks in the midfield, he more than justifies it in his attack.

Lyran's attack will never have the ball. Dybala is best as a SS. As a CF he needs someone strong next to him who can win balls in the air and can interchange with him like Vazquez did at Palermo. For this reason I have to go with Dylan. I didn't imagine voting against a team with Dybala in the first round. If Lyran had Vazquez behind Dybala instead of Soriano and used 442 my vote would be different

I'm worried about Lyran's midfield. Cuadrado and Dybala aren't exactly hardworkers. Soriano is poor defensively.

I think there's a decent chance the work ethic of Dylan's team (Nainggolan, Bonaventura, Giaccherini, and De Rossi are all hard workers, physical, and runners) could make Lyran's life difficult.

The defensive lines are about equal

I don't really feel I need a SS / Offensive midfielder because I got two wingers who likes to cut inside, at the same time they can stay on the wing.

Dylan's got a really hardworking team, but so do I. I have Khedira, Rincon, Perisic and Ansaldi.

All in all, I feel my team is very balanced. It has players who contribute a lot in defence. And I also have players who like to be offensive and whom are very creative and likes to play in narrow space (Dybala, Soriano, Cuadrado).

Your team lacks steal. Cuadrado, Dybala, Soriano, Khedira are all fantastic technical players, but without have strong players around them to hold the ball, to win the ball in the air etc they're going to struggle. Especially Dybala. Barzagli, Nainggolan, De Rossi are just going to bully him all day, and the only way to get the ball to him would be on the ground because he's not going to win any aerial battles. Individually you have good players, but as a team I don't think it works. In saying that I still believe if you had someone up front to hold the ball up and for Dybala to work-off that this is yours. Especially considering your wingers will be able to get past Dylan's fullbacks, but when they go to cross the ball into the middle there will be no one to finish as Dybala likes to stand on the edge of the box to do his amazing curling shots, but that only works if there is a CF occupying the CBs.

I don't dont know man. I don't think lacking steal is my worst attribute. Khedira is tall and strong.
We all know how the football has changed from the early 2000. Todays football favour technical players over strong and tall players.
Usually a team use 1/2 out of their 3/4 spots in midfield to be given to a destroyer/defensive midfielder so the team can recover after losing the ball.

All my players except Dybala is good at hazzling the opposition, perhaps not so good in the air but at least on the ground.

While we're at it. You say Dylan got such a good defense, but where will that get him when he will almost never have the ball near my goal? In my opinion he doesn't have a good midfielder to bring the ball forward.

My attacks will definately be slow paced, moving the ball around waiting for a good cross or shot oppurtunity. I will not play on counters.
