A “bolgia” is a trench where a specific class of sinners serves its eternal sentence in Dante's Inferno. It's a noisy, restless place full of people who behave badly. So basically, it's Italy.
Damn, that's fucking dark. Bolgia. Dante's Inferno.

Had me thinking, have anyone here played the game Dante's Inferno? Best ps3 game I've ever played, 2 bad they didn't have a sequel.

Whenever I see someone singing their national anthem this hard something bad is about to happen. For example David Luiz’ goofy ass before Brazil shipped 7 against Germany.

Would steer clear of playing this guy against Atalanta, two very sub-par games for the NT leading to a fairly humiliating elimination from the World Cup, he's bound to be demoralised and not at his best.

Also as an Italian I'm seething at him and the rest of the fuckers who played tonight so I'd rather just not see him on the pitch.

Very poor performance with the NT.
Basically it was like watching last year's Inter: a team with no schemes, no off-the-ball movement and no pace who simply keeps giving the ball to Candreva and then wait for him to make a random cross in the box.

I think I would have been a better player than Candreva. Shit, even now at 30, I have better speed and an excellent vision of the pitch, plus better passing. I would had 5-8 assists at least guaranteed per season. Somebody call Spalletti.

Lol Candreva was the only one who looked alive throughout both legs.

Only prob for me would be the running part. I can't run for jack shit but I do have really good sprint speed but can only do 1 per 90min Beard game is good too so

Candreva's crossing this season for Inter is on probably the best I've seen from our side, probably ever. Can't recall if Figo made better crosses. Maicon's assists if I remember correctly were more of a dribble and then a pullback/cutback low on the ground, not like the Beckham-esque crosses Candreva has been making all season long.

(Then again, the benchmark is quite low because we hardly have proper great wingers)

You need to go back and watch Luis Figo in 2005/6 if you start comparing him to Candreva Candreva has become much more efficient under Spalletti, hope he can improve and start bagging some goals as well.

Let's not forget dozens of bad crosses (not last night though). When you try something 10-15 times, you will probably succeed once or twice. That approach even made Adebayor a great striker for a season.

He has improved significantly but it probably feels that way with how shit his crossing has been last season. Having said that, I'm extremely happy with how much he has improved, his first touch crossing, from awkward angles specifically, is on another level and I sure hope he keeps it up. With his great defensive work (same as Perisic) whenever he contributes offensively feels almost too good to be true.

I do agree that he's overall improved his crossing, especially in the last few matches.

I wonder if it has to do with Spaletti's instructions, because I watched him in the 2nd match against Sweden, and he was the old frustrating Candreva, while he's been much better with Inter.

  27. Thanks (1): thatdude
