I agree, everything seems so disappointing about this player, the most disappointing is the money we spent for him... 30 million for him and another 40 for Joao Mario... we could buy Aguero with 70 million JEES

(not that we need a player like him since we got Icardi but I wanted to give you an example of what we could buy with 70 million)

Maybe I should have mentioned that it was a clarification, not a conversation with myself, like you thought.

Coco was good but his injury ended him. Apparently he also blamed Inter for his back surgery. The swap was strange though and Seedorf was another talented AM that we let go

Giving away Seedorf and Pirlo to Milan are unacceptable mistakes. Not only we lost two of the greatest midfielders ever, but we also made Milan stronger. We should be giving them crappy players like Joao Mario now!

We were linked with Paletta a couple of days ago. Don't give Inter any ideas, or we may see another swap coming.

It's hard to get the money we need for FFP and for our own transfer strategy because there's no one with that kind of money for him now.

The only chance for a direct transfer at this point is to some desperate EPL club that has enough money, something like a Bournemouth, Watford or Newcastle or whatever. The problem is accepting to go a club not playing in Europe. If we're lucky, Liverpool will come to compensate our lack of % on the Coutinho sale and give it all for Joao Mario if they cannot get Lemar or basically anyone else. I think he'd actually succeed there.
Watford actually made a bid but Mario rejected them, exactly for that reason.

Joao Mario has reportedly rejected a move to Watford as the Inter midfielder waits for a club that play in European competition.

According to Calciomercato, Inter must balance the books if deals for Rafinha, Ramires and Lisandro Lopez go through.

Joao Mario has long been linked with an exit from San Siro, and Watford would have offered to bring him in permanently.

However, the website notes the Portuguese turned down the proposal, even if he is “not 100 percent convinced” by another from Vincenzo Montella’s Sevilla.

Nonetheless, talks between the Andalusians and Inter over a possible swap for Joao Mario and Joaquin Correa are “taking more and more shape.”

I'm sure there's a dumb EPL club who are willing to match what we paid to take Mario off our hands.

    Absolutely fantastic hypothetical, but

    1) Kondogbia won't leave Europe the winter before the WC
    2) We own 25% of all future sales if Sevilla buy him, so they will have to bend the Chinese over to make a profit
    3) Mario

Just a idea: if you want a serious debate about football, you should block everybody from countries that NEVER will win nothing and NEVER will have a balon d'or, for example.
Whats the point about those guys opinions??? Can i go to some New Zealand chat and start to teach them how to recognize the better wc prospects among young Rugby players?
Again, if you NEVER saw a young wc prospect struggling in his first years, like Kaka or Ronaldinho who were booed by they local supporters here, how could you judge????

I read somewhere that it's 25% for the difference between the new sale price and the 25m they pay to us. Makes more sense but indeed isn't so profitable to Inter.
