    Good luck!
We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Question is, will Pioli now win against Inter since we no longer are a big club?

    Pioli: ‘No Inter regrets’
    By Football Italia staff

Fiorentina Coach Stefano Pioli insists he has “no regrets” about his brief spell at Inter last season.

The tactician replaced Frank de Boer on the Nerazzurri bench in March 2016, but was sacked on May 9 the following year.

The Beneamata started well under Pioli, winning 12 of 16 Serie A games, but following a draw with Torino they lost five and drew one of their subsequent matches.

“When I think of Inter I have no regrets,” the Viola boss insisted, speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I’d do everything the same way. I know the collapse seemed inexplicable, but people don’t realise how much we put in on that ‘crazy’ run.

“It was almost impossible, and the KO with Sampdoria deflated our motivation, then with the last-minute draw in the derby everything broke out.

“The process of interviews to find a new Inter Coach caused a sensation, but the reality is that all clubs do it: they tell you they only want you and then it turns out that’s not true.

“The difference with Suning is that they did it expressly, without hiding. When [sporting director Piero] Ausilio called me I was in New York, I’d just had an offer from another club.

“He and [Umberto] Nandini came to my house in Parma and told me I was the only candidate.

“Two days later I met the Chinese owners. It was the longest job interview of my career: two years of endless English-Italian-Chinese translations. In the end I came out satisfied though.”

At some point he'll have a 10 game winning streak followed by 15 games with no win.

God, Italy just have a trasheap of managers who come in during the season to certain clubs. This guy is one of them, its hilarious. These managers end up managing almost every fucking team in the league

Good, let him destroy milan completely lol.

    Milan fans furious with Pioli

As Stefano Pioli prepares to sign a low-cost, two-year contract with Milan, fans are unhappy that another Inter supporter is taking the reins.

Pioli is set to replace Marco Giampaolo as Milan’s Coach, and Gazzetta dello Sport notes he will earn just €1m this season, with €1.5m to follow next term if he sees out his deal.

That is markedly less than the €4-4.5m that Luciano Spalletti was demanding for his services, prior to Inter refusing to cover his compensation costs.

However, the Rossoneri’s choice to bring in the 53-year-old has been nothing short of controversial.

Indeed, #PioliOut is currently the top trend on Twitter in Italy, despite the former Inter boss having yet to be formally appointed.

Comments from his time on the blue side of San Siro have also since resurfaced, which do not make for good reading.

“My family are all Interista,” he was quoted as saying by Sport Mediaset.

“My profession took me elsewhere, but my faith was [Inter]. I grew up with the chant, ‘we’ll win the Scudetto with Beccalossi and Pasinato.’”

Pioli lost 10 of his 27 games in charge of Inter during the 2016-17 campaign, although he did lead Lazio into the Champions League.

Giampaolo, for his part, recently confessed he was a Beneamata supporter growing up.

Milan fans in their droves have taken to Twitter with the hashtag #PioliOut, which has begun trending worldwide.

He is widely considered an underwhelming choice, given he failed with Inter and has not won any senior silverware in 16 years as a Coach.

Pioli becomes the Diavolo’s ninth Coach in five years and the eighth to have represented both San Siro clubs, following the likes of Leonardo and Giovanni Trapattoni.

The nicest and most likeable of the 8 or 9 coaches we had since Mourinho, I knew he gave his all, but truth is he was not good enough. I’m confident the best he can reach with Milan is Europa League playoffs.

Pioli is a smart tactical manager. He rarely chooses a wrong lineup and often has good game plans. He cannot manage people though; everywhere he has gone, he has at some point lost the locker room. At Lazio it was after they got ushered out of the UCL qualification. Here it was obviously in the midst of the long losing streak. He has never showed the ability to turn these situations around, so when things at Milan inevitably hit the fan, he will go down with the ship.

He usually motivates them well, until one shit happens. Has problem settling down with big egos, hence he always loses the plot after some time.

But he should be good coach for milan THIS year. Way better than Giampaolo.

He is taking over a young team with few egos, and very low in confidence. Its ideal for him, this Milan side is better suited to him than Inter was. I expect him to turn them around very quickly. He has very clear and simple ideas of how to play, much easier to implement that Giampaolo's system. While CL qualification looks difficult, its not outside the realm of possibility for Pioli.
