I would put Ancelotti as #1 too. Not on results purely, but he actually wants to play football unlike some managers who'll go unmentioned.

Pep is pretty good too, but he's too inflexible.

I don't care if mou is getting relegated from north conference 6th league in england with wrexham united, he is still the best coach out there.

I reckon a good manager is someone that can manage their resources and turn it into a success.

Mourinho and Simeone are the best at that.

He is the best manager, in 2.5 seasons he has won 3 CLs already, on top of that La Liga and bunch of other trophies. Yes Madrid have good team and all that but before before zidane became their manager they won 1 CL in 13 or 14 years and Rafael Benitez was stinking up the place. No team has retained CL successfully in last 25 years or so, he has done it and won 3. That's just unbelievable record.

Will be interesting how they will change the team though as their core players are all over 30 except Kroos.

What Zidane is doing is no doubt amazing. However, I just think people are waiting to see him do it with another team or have to do a rebuilding job at Madrid before crowning him.

Zidane is the best manager I've seen during my lifetime. People say they want to see him do it with another team but get orgasm from watching Messi. Guardiola haven't won CL with another team and people still suck his dick.

I just want to repeat myself again, I haven't seen a coach like him in my entire life.

That's correct but as of today he is the best isn't it? There are so many coaches who have coached Madrid, Barca, Bayern like super clubs but none of them dominated CL like Madrid are doing.

He also adapted his tactics according to his team needs. He made Casemiro a regular starting player which gave very good balance to the team. When Bale was injured they made a switch from 4-3-3- to sort of 4-4-2 with Modric and Isco playing wide roles and central roles, and pushing Ronaldo to striker position.

It will be very interesting to see how he performs at other club but what he did at Madrid was just amazing.

    2. Simeone
    2. Klopp

    5. Mourinho (Could easily drop down atm)
    6. Pep (I've never considered him the best. I know it's something that can easily be argued. But I'll wait to see what he does at City before I give him too high a praise)

    7. Emery (would be higher, just needs to sort PSG out, but for what he did at Sevilla he deserves this)
    8. Allegri
    9. Sampaoli (excited to see more)

    10. Wenger (only because of his consistency)
Boy how my rankings have changed.

    1. Zidane
    2. Klopp
    2. Simeone

    4. Pep (Definitely improved in my eyes but fuck me does he still need all that cash to make things work)
    5. Ancelotti (guys been out for too long excited for his Napoli though)
    6. Allegri
    7. Mourinho (free fall I'm afraid)

    8. Emery
    9. Conte (yeesh this guy has fallen)
    10. Pochettino

Sampaoli would need to do amazing in the world cup to get back in think Poch deserves the spot more atm. Fuck Wenger.

    What?

You're using the same criteria for a player as a manager, which makes no sense. Messi being a one club guy and winning numerous different titles with said club isn't the same thing as a manager inheriting a squad and winning titles with that squad. Even the idea that one club players don't get as much flak as one club managers doesn't make much sense considering players play a certain style and are the things that win the titles in the first place. You can ask whether or not Messi would've been able to win as much titles with a club like Swindon Town, but the talent is still there.

Managers sometimes can't compete when they go to a different club, Di Matteo is a good example of this. I don't think Zidane would be as successful outside of Real Madrid, which is the healthy dose of skepticism whenever a manager does great things at the richest club in the world with the best players in the world. On the other hand, if Casemiro, Ronaldo, Ramos etc etc went to another club, they possess the same qualities and are lauded for it - not their ability to ply it to a club. Managers are the exact opposite - their talent relies on the talent on the field. Which in Zidane's case, there's A LOT of talent on the field.

As for Guardiola, he's praised for breaking records, strongly philosophical teams and his ability to build formidable teams with all sorts of talent. His additions to each team he inherits add so much more to his team, and it doesn't hurt that the man breaks records with every team and in every league he plays in. Also his style of football is aesthetically pleasing and strong enough to win virtually every title, which he has proven to have done on more than 1 occasion. He hasn't won the UCL with 2 different teams, but that being the bearer of whether a manager is great or not is such a fickle standard. I can't stand people that use that as the only standard of success in football.

I don't care to answer all that, I'll just have one question.

Does Guardiola have an ability to build a formidable teams with all sorts of talent if he wouldn't have had 400m euro?

Guardiola is the biggest fraud of this century. He is the definition of inheritance of a squad. Barcelona which made him the coach he is today is a proven club where coach doesn't matter. They were that good.

The philosophical shit you are talking about isn't him who lay the ground. It was Cruyff. He basically took the most talent people in the world from La Masia who had been tought to play in a way that Cruyff gave them and put them on the field.

If he was such a fucking philosophical coach, why can't he implement the play he had with Barca and actually win a CL with another team?

It aint like he took over Dortmund or Liverpool or Milan after Barca.

He can't do it without big bucks? He isn't anything without talent already established in the ranks? He could only do it with 1 team, and hasn't proven it otherwise?

You're literally using all the anti-Zidane arguments against Guardiola, without seeing that people think the same about Zidane. And there isn't any proof to shake those allegations, hit me up when Zidane wins 3 UCLs in a row with another team.

You're right, Zidane is doing exactly what Pep did, but he's doing it better. 3 in a row is something Pep never did.

My impression is that Zidane has an expensive squad, but he didn't spend that much himself. Am I wrong?

That he would have but for us. It's an unfair comparison cause Zidane never had to play us for one of the wins. This year we'll stop him.
