That's what I read(no mistake from my part)
Maybe we use our good relationship with Samp and they block Rube somehow...I dunno

How doesn't it make sense? If Rube offered the release clause and so did we, he'd go to them because of this apparent relationship maybe? Or whatever else. If we offer more Sampdoria may convince the kid to come to us. He'd also know he could more likely be a starter for us (along side Icardi?) than at Rube, or if we send him on loan back to Samp it may be more appealing to the kid. Simple.

Di Marzio: "Schick, Inter has not given up. New contacts with the agent. Sabatini ... "

Patrick Schick is the most sought-after player of the moment: all the big ones are courting the Sampdoria striker

    By Daniele Mari , @ danmari83 May 25, 2017, 17:42

Who will run it in the race to Patrik Schick? The talent of Sampdoria is pursued by all the big and doriani hope to keep him. Ferrero will insist for another loan year whatever the chosen club is next destination but Schick is more inclined to greet, ambition, reports Gianluca Di Marzio, who then explains:

JUVE IN POLE POSITION - "Whoever pays that 25 million clause to Samp will have to face this speech, in short. But before that is to convince Patrik: Juventus is now in pole position, he chose the right time to court him, from words to facts. And in the next few hours will have a new contact with Paska and Satin, Schick's agents, a good opportunity to finally convince the Czech striker: Schick will ask Juve to be able to play him right away, even in multiple roles, given his stay Of stars like Dybala, Mandzukic, Cuadrado, Higuain and incoming operations in the same department (see Keita, a priority for Juventus). He does not claim to be a starter, but he does not even appear: projects and programs to clarify in order to tear up the definitive yes from Schick, Juve knows they are in the front row in the boy's head. "

INTER NOT giving up - "Yet there is no time to lose. Because Inter remains active, has had new contacts with the Czech entourage, had moved first without making the deal; Walter Sabatini had chosen Schick a year ago for Roma and has not yet given up on the Inter front, indeed. But Rome has tried to put it in, tried yesterday in Milan with Monchi and Massara by Patrik's agents, positive feelings and the idea of giving Schick space in the giallorosso attack (4-3-3 Of Di Francesco would be perfect) as the first alternative point to Dzeko and not only, even from outside attack. Clearly, the giallorossi know how to leave behind like Milan himself who took information with the Samp and moved the first steps, a busy and infinite race. The Rossoneri are in the background, Rome wants to try, Inter does not give up. And from abroad, Borussia Dortmund is vigilant on any novelty that concerns the well-known Schick: a possible sale of Aubameyang could open new scenarios, to date only hypothetical. "

blablabla...just fuck of to Rube and lick Nedved's balls already...we are to incompetent to make the deals happen when we have a chance...thanks to the mess that is our mgmt

Ferrero: "Schick? There is also Inter. If someone pays the clause he must leave, but ... "

So the bluetonger president of Premium Sport's microphones
    By Daniele Vitiello , @DanViti May 25, 2017, 6:30 pm

He also spoke to the Premium Sport microphone Massimo Ferrero , president of Sampdoria, to talk about the future of young Schick: "A lot of people have contacted us, but we keep it tight. We did a great championship, we could do better, I'm a demanding president and I'm not content. Who contacted us for Schick? Clearly Rome, Milan, Naples, Inter ... the big ones have made it to be heard, if someone pays the clause we have to let him go, but we all agree to let him stay with us to make him mature. We are working for them. "

common...just end this shit already...I'm pissed off again!

The clause is 25m. Its not that big an ask these days, I mean Roma are asking 50m for fucking Rudiger. We need to move fast, can't fuck this up like we did with Dybala.

But we are Inter. We have no problem paying 35M for an unproven youngster which we don't really need.

Pay less for proven Serie A quality? Nah, drag it 2 months until someone steals him instead.

Nope. We'll think about Schick when he is 27 and his price is already 70m. And we'll still not get him.

If we spend 70 on James when we can get Schick for 25 and still have money left to spend on defenders, I'll off myself

You see people from Colombia, Oceania, Ireland(i think) pretending that at least ONCE in their life they saw a young wc talent arriving and becoming a world star.

Just a idea: if you want a serious debate about football, you should block everybody from countries that NEVER will win nothing and NEVER will have a balon d'or, for example.
Whats the point about those guys opinions??? Can i go to some New Zealand chat and start to teach them how to recognize the better wc prospects among young Rugby players?
Again, if you NEVER saw a young wc prospect struggling in his first years, like Kaka or Ronaldinho who were booed by they local supporters here, how could you judge????

It seems that the management just don't want to pay the release clause.

Sadly, it seems to be another Dybala...

It's indeed the management fault for being too slow. We were the first approaching him several months ago I think, but Ausilio tried to show his negotiating skills bs.. offering 14m or something like that instead of triggering the release clause.

When Ausi is confident that Schick is really worth 25m, too late he has caught attention from half of the world. Then the Rube scum comes into play.

Not the first time too much hesitation harms us iirc. We have been scouting future stars really good for other clubs, but extremely shit at negotiation. Casemiro, Ricardo Rodriguez, Schick, Salah, Nainggolan etc. etc.

It's not a matter of money. Ausilio had verbally agreed to pay Schick release clause and leave him one more year at Sampdoria. And that agreement made him think he didn't have to hurry up and close the deal. That was Ausilio's mistake. The problem is Schick doesn't want to stay one more year at Sampdoria. Nedved intervened and convinced him to join Juve instead. We're basically out of the race. But it's not certain he's joining Juve. According to the latest reports, Schick has a very good offer from Dortmund as the Germans want him to replace Aubameyang. The logical option for him is to choose them over Juve. At his age he needs regular playing time more than being on a top team's bench. Though his feelings for Nedved could cloud his judgement.

IMO whoever buys him should keep him in Samp for another year, he can't be a starter for BVB, Inter or Juventus simply because of other options up front.
However, with Juventus having Dybala and Higuain, it's much smarter to move to either Inter or BVB in a year.

On the other hand, did the kid every say anything about wanting to join Juventus because of Nedved?
