Probably one of the best game of recent memories, i saw the highlights though, would have liked to see it live.

Borussia Dortmund model is great. We should learn something from it.

bayern munchen-borussia dortmund 5-0 with ten minutes left. this speaks volumes about what bundesliga has become. it's basically bayern's playground
"As usual in Italy some decisions are made without sense and logic. The dark side of the football that we tried to clean up returns to light".

My username has nothing to do with the player of liverpool fc, it is a reference to an Italian novel.

Niko Kovač will take over as Bayern Munich head coach from 1st July 2018 after agreeing a three-year contract with the club.

    Such a random appointment.

I don't think they had many better choices. After Ancellotti, they wanted someone who knew Bundesliga and Bayern well. They approached Tuchel (Rummenigge choice), who has already agreed with PSG, too late as Hoenes was trying to convince Heynckes to stay for one more season. Hoffenheim won't let Nagelsmann leave before 2019, Joachim Low and Jurgen Klopp weren't willing to leave their teams. So they could either go for someone like Favre or for a promising but inexperienced coach like Kovac or Tedesco.
Anyway, this is an interesting appointment. Kovac has done a good job in Frankfurt. Though whether he's ready for the next step or not remains to be seen.
Francesco Toldo: "Winning in this club is different; it is the satisfaction of arriving at the port after going through a storm".

Well, technically it's a german cup game but nonetheless, what a goal!
And to think our NT might not even take this kid to WC. A lot of more knowledgeable people here are saying he will be as good as SMS in a year or two.

I'm shocked Ribery still has it in him.

Why? He and Robben are both class players.

How often do you see a 35 year old winger, play at the highest level? If you can't grasp that that's some freak of nature shit, then you must not be paying close attention.

Not sure about Robben as he is still able to beat his opponent and score goals meanwhile Ribery is an expired material. Then again as long as Bayern keeps playing Muller in starting line-up, they aren't being a threat to any opponent outside of Bundesliga, he is basically a waste.
